A leaked Star Wars: The Last Jedi Force Friday checklist has unveiled a good portion of the upcoming product line, revealing a number of new toys to collect. As many fans know by now, September 1 is when all the Episode VIII tie-in products officially hit store shelves. However, that has not prevented the merchandise from making several headlines over the past couple of months. More so than either of its Disney era predecessors, Last Jedi has been subject to a number of leaks that reveal what licensing partners like Hasbro and LEGO have in store come the fall. The reveals have worked as free advertising for the film, but Lucasfilm sees it as an issue that has to be corrected.

With Force Friday happening in just a few week’s time (as of this writing), moviegoers are saving up their money in preparation of a Star Wars shopping spree. Collectors will try to get their hands on everything they can, which is why companies put out handy checklists that highlight their entire line so fans can check it off as they go along. Thanks to a partial one for Hasbro that just made its way online, viewers can see more of the toys they have planned - and theorize how they might relate to the movie.

Appearing on the Star Wars fan site Yakface (hat tip Star Wars News Net), the list contains a bevy of toys that cover not just Episode VIII, but multiple installments of the saga. You can see all that was revealed below.

This is obviously a lot for fans to take in, and many are wondering how all these toys relate to The Last Jedi. For starters, it’s worth reiterating again that this is a new Star Wars product line for Hasbro, not just exclusively Episode VIII. This means people should not read too much into the inclusions of Obi-Wan and Yoda in the figure list, as that is not confirmation their Force ghosts will appear. Some may also find it odd that “Jedi Training” and “Jedi Master” monikers are used for the Rey and Luke toys given Skywalker’s shocking proclamation at the end of the teaser trailer, but it’s safe to say “Jedi” is being used here strictly as a marketing tool. That term is known around the globe, making it an easy sell for merchandise. If Luke has found a new path, that’s a secret Lucasfilm would want to preserve.

Despite writer/director Rian Johnson’s statements Snoke remains a mystery in his film, the Supreme Leader is a key factor in the Episode VIII toys. After being absent from the Force Awakens rollout, the villain is going to get his due this time around with multiple figures to choose from. He appears to be grouped with an elite guard and poor BB-8 for a Mega Star Destroyer vehicle, as well as getting his own exclusive 6-inch action figure. Speaking of the guards, they’ll be an integral part of the Last Jedi marketing from here on out as well, which is unsurprising given their striking appearance. One is paired with Rey in a two-pack, suggesting it’s the praetorian guards, not the Knights of Ren, that accompany Kylo to Ahch-To for his confrontation with Luke and Rey (unless they’re one and the same). The guards might have red and black outfits, if the “Tango” name is anything to go by.

It’s important to remember that this is reportedly a partial checklist, so there’s a chance it barely scratches the surface of what’s to come in September. Even if this is all Hasbro has to offer (for the first wave, anyway), there are several other companies that will be getting in on all the fun, such as LEGO and Funko. The last few months of 2017 are shaping up to be a wild time for Star Wars fans, and it will be exciting when they can finally get their hands on all these products.
