Marred by several problems even before production kicked off, the movie was scrutinized at every turn and ultimately performed underwhelmingly at the box office. Now it is already out in digital HD, revealing several cutscenes, so fans have once again started dissecting all the film’s “what ifs....

Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon are firemen who set fires in a new image from the set of HBO’s Fahrenheit 451, an adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s classic cautionary 1953 novel. Spider-Man: Homecoming star Laura Harrier and Kingsman: The Secret Service actress Sofia Boutella have also been added to the cast of the TV movie set in a futuristic dystopia where no one cares about anything but empty pleasure, mass media are used to control people’s minds - and all books have been outlawed....

Taika Waititi is developing a Flash Gordon animated movie for Disney and Fox. Created in the 1930s, Flash Gordon started off as a comic strip about the dashing athlete-turned intrepid space adventurer of the same name, and has since made the leap to film, as well as both animated and live-action TV. The 1980 Flash Gordon movie has further become a cult title in the decades since its release (something Seth MacFarlane’s 2012 comedy Ted famously tapped into), and the larger franchise’s influence on pop culture like Star Wars can still be felt to this day....

Jason Reitman’s upcoming Ghostbusters 2020 movie casts two newcomers in mystery roles. The new film will mark the fourth Ghostbusters movie to be released since Ivan Reitman, Dan Aykroyd and the late Harold Ramis first introduced the world to the comedic supernatural concept in 1984. Despite the continued growth of the franchise, however, the release of Paul Feig’s female led Ghostbusters reboot in 2016 is not considered part of the original series....

Actor Jared Padalecki played Dean Forester, Rory’s first love interest on Gilmore Girls, but he only landed the part after the original actor from the show’s unaired pilot was recast. Debuting back in 2000 on what was then The WB network (later becoming The CW), Gilmore Girls focused on the lives of Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel). Legendary and WB’s Monarch Sciences website is beginning to share more information regarding Godzilla: King of the Monsters as well as tease more monsters joining the burgeoning MonsterVerse. EA Play kicked off its E3 2019 presence with a fifteen-minute gameplay trailer for the much-anticipated Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, details about the combat, as well as whether or not players would be able to pick between Sith or Jedi paths. Director Stig Asmussen and Vince Zampella were joined by Greg Miller of Kinda Funny. The trio explained that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order would be a single-player action adventure game set after the events of Order 66 in the Star Wars canon where the Jedi were hunted down and eliminated....

Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang appears to have an updated suit for Ant-Man and the Wasp as our first look at his battle garb is released online. After Marvel Studios successfully launched their biggest characters with their respective franchises, the film company delved into developing their lesser known properties who have lesser fan affinity than the main Avengers - including Rudd’s shrinking superhero. Due to production kerfuffles, many were worried about Ant-Man’s chances at being on par in terms of success with other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies....

Friday the 13th: the Game won’t be getting any more content, thanks to the ongoing dispute over the rights to the franchise. The game released last year from Illfonic and Gun Media, and offers up asymmetrical multiplayer horror gameplay, with one player taking on the role of Jason Voorhees and the others acting as the camp counselors trying to survive. The title picked up a lot of interest before release, but unfortunately at launch had a lot of technical problems which saw players get frustrated....

Godzilla: King of the Monsters contains small references that lead to the big monster showdown in Godzilla vs. Kong, says director Michael Dougherty. After Kong was set-up in 2017’s hit Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla gets his turn to take center stage in the next MonsterVerse film, due out in theaters next summer. As teased during the post-credits stinger of Skull Island, King of the Monsters will also include appearances from famous kaiju Rodan, King Ghidorah, and Mothra....
