As a billionaire, business magnate and man of science, he’s managed to remain a villainous figure thanks to his genius intellect and next-level engineering capabilities. While many actors have given the character their best shot, only a few have been able to encapsulate the foe’s larger than life persona as one of the world’s greatest masterminds....

Because of its exotic nature, the Asian continent has been a subject of fascination for Western culture, leading to stories where Caucasian men travel there and bring something unusual back. One of the prime examples of this is Doctor Strange, who traveled to Tibet and learned mystical arts from the wise yet powerful Ancient One. Continuing with this same tradition was Iron Fist, whose training in the fictional city K’un Lun gave him the power to emit energy that makes him physically deadlier....

Season 2 of Final Space heads to a new home on Adult Swim, but as the new trailer show, it will still bring plenty of space-faring adventure and comedy. Season 1 of the animated series from creator and star Orlan Rogers aired on TBS and was executive produced by Conan O’Brien. It delivered a surprisingly serialized story about a shifty layabout named Gary Goodspeed (Rogers), who finds himself thrust into an intergalactic struggle between Lord Commander (David Tennant) and the forces who would fight against him....

Star Wars fans will reveal a new character from this December’s The Last Jedi during an augmented reality event as part of the Force Friday II festivities. In just about a week (as of this writing), the first wave of Episode VIII products will hit store shelves, and though moviegoers have already seen a majority of the products thanks to an endless amount of toy leaks, it will nevertheless be exciting to purchase some items and add to collections....

A decade ago, Apple launched FaceTime (2010) and iMessage (2011). Both of these products became, with time, a major part of the company’s ecosystem. In a podcast interview, Justin Santamaria, former Apple lead engineer on iPhone, talks about creating both of these products and more. Santamaria joined Apple in 2003 as a build engineer. He worked on internal development projects regarding build system automation, then he became part of the team that released iChat communications software for Mac OS X....

Fortnite just won a Game of the Year title - in 2018. Epic Games’ popular multiplayer shooter claimed the crown at the Golden Joysticks, inexplicably beating out Red Dead Redemption 2, a game that many critics believed would be the runaway favorite to sweep up Game of the Year accolades at industry award shows this year. On the surface, Fortnite being a contender, and even winning, Game of the Year awards makes sense....

On the web, Gmail has long noted how much storage you’re using at the bottom of the page. A “Storage used” indicator is now on Gmail for Android and iOS to save you from needing to open another app or website for space management. On the Gmail mobile apps, Google added a “Storage used” indicator in the account switcher that opens after tapping your profile avatar. It appears underneath “Manage your Google Account” — which was the previous method for quickly checking storage — and just above the list of other signed-in addresses....

The next God of War game is still a ways off but the wait won’t be nearly as long as expected. Before the soft reboot of the series, with PS4’s God of War, the last released game in the franchise was God of War: Ascension. Ascension, a prequel that received generally positive reviews, released in 2013. This makes it five years since the series has seen a mainline entry, not counting the PS4 remake of God of War 3 that released in 2015....

UPDATE: Warner Bros. has let us know that the next Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer won’t be arriving next week after all, but that it’s on the way soon. A new trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be arriving next week. The upcoming Godzilla film will not only be a sequel to the 2014 movie directed by Gareth Edwards, but will be the third overall film in Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros....

When originally in development, Halo: Combat Evolved was not planned as a trilogy. However, following the critical and commercial success of the first title, a sequel became expected and, of course, Microsoft was more than keen to have a second major exclusive on the Xbox. Bungie got to work on Halo 2. The developer had strong ideas for extending the story and gameplay experience that couldn’t fit into one game but that didn’t mean to intentionally end the campaign on such a cliff-hanger....

Blade Runner 2049 star Harrison Ford says at San Diego Comic-Con that he’s on board with rebooting every franchise he’s started. After years of appearing in small supporting roles in such notable films as American Graffiti and The Conversation, Ford’s breakthrough role, of course, came in 1977 as Han Solo in the original Star Wars . The role instantly cemented Ford’s status as a Hollywood icon and elevated the actor to leading man roles, including turns in such classics as Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981 and Blade Runner in 1982....

Class, the ill-fated Doctor Who spinoff show, has been given a second life as an audio series. Created by Patrick Ness, 2016’s Class focused on the lives of a group of students at the franchise’s iconic Coal Hill and attempted to tell stories within the Doctor Who universe but grounded in the everyday lives of British teenagers. Starring Katherine Kelly as an alien Physics teacher, Class boasted a cameo from The Doctor himself (Peter Capaldi) in episode one and utilized a noticeably darker tone compared to its parent series, however this wasn’t enough to prevent the BBC cancelling Class due to poor viewing figures....

As an infant, Kakarot was sent to planet Earth to destroy it. But, he didn’t destroy it. In fact, he became the world’s greatest protector, training to become a powerful warrior who could stop all threats to his adopted home planet. Just because he’s the strongest warrior in this (or any other) universe, doesn’t mean he’s actually that great of a fighter. In fact, Goku is kind of the worst. Sure, he’s saved the world and defeated powerful enemies, but there have been times within the Dragon Ball franchise that make us question Goku’s so-called fighting skills....

Within the Dragon Ball universe, the similarities between Vegeta and Trunks aren’t very surprising. In the main timeline, Trunks grew up with the Saiyan Prince’s influence on most aspects of his life. He regularly trained, always challenging himself to be better than his peers and as great as his dad. He took on many of his personality traits as well, including that trademark cockiness. Future Trunks, however, missed out on this influence due to the elimination of his father and the other Z Fighters from his timeline....

As Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse reveals, the Peter Parker that fans know and love isn’t the only Spider-Man out there. While most on-screen iterations of the character feature him as the only web-slinging superhero in existence, Marvel Comics have featured countless alternate universes over the years, many of which had their own unique iterations of Spider-Man. A majority of these alternate universes have their own different versions of Peter Parker, even though that Peter may be completely different from the one that most people know....

HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel is already filming under the working title Bloodmoon, but a leaked logo may confirm it as the show’s official title. Earlier this year, HBO announced the prequel series would begin filming in the summer, and the Bloodmoon working title was first revealed at the start of production. However, creating a logo for a working title is unusual, which suggests it could, in fact, be the Game of Thrones’ prequel’s actual title....

When Duck Dynasty premiered in 2012, no one predicted how well a show about a family who owned a duck call and hunting equipment business would do. Not even A&E foresaw the popularity of this reality show. The show lasted five years, ending in March of 2017, and managed to produce over $400 million dollars in merchandise revenue. Duck Dynasty followed the Robertson family as they run their business Duck Commander, which was founded in 1972....

Capcom is currently working hard on a remastering of Resident Evil 2, but there’s a catch as players aren’t allowed to call it a remake. Hoping to recapture the heart-pounding fear of Raccoon City that made the sequel to 1996’s original one of the best in the series, developers are promising to deliver more than just an update to the game’s graphics. Looking at Sony’s bumper E3 presentation, Resident Evil 2 was a highlight of the expo and set the marketing machine turning ahead of the game’s release next January....

Dungeon of the Dragon Knight captures the essence of old school dungeon crawlers but other than updated graphics, it adds little new to the genre. Dungeons are full of danger, of mystery. There’s no map guiding you to their secrets. Puzzles, traps, and monsters lurk behind every right-angled corner. The only way to survive is an expert combination of reflexes, guile, and determination. So while the average video game provides detailed instructions, tutorials, and Clippy-the-Paperclip hints, Dungeon of the Dragon Knight rejects those modern notions....
