The games that will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers to download in August have been revealed and they are Wipeout: Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4. That means there isn’t much time left to claim July’s selection of games from PlayStation Plus, which are Detroit: Become Human (which came with a free copy of Heavy Rain) and Horizon Chase Turbo. Last month’s selection of games was controversial, as Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 was originally slated to be one of the free games, but it was replaced with Detroit: Become Human/Heavy Rain at the last minute with no explanation as to why....

FX’s Y: The Last Man comic book adaptation has recruited Eliza Clark to serve as its new showrunner. Written by by Brian K. Vaughan and illustrated by Pia Guerra (among others) from 2002-2008, the original Y: The Last Man comics tell the story of Yorick Brown, the last man alive in a post-apocalyptic future after a mysterious plague wipes out every other human possessing a Y chromosome. There’s no time to pause when you’re neck-deep in criminal activity, which is why NBC giving audiences Good Girls season 3 in 2020. The series, which stars Christina Hendricks, Mae Whitman, and Retta, was renewed for season 3 while season 2 was on the air. In fact, the renewal occurred just six episodes into season 2. The Guardians of the Galaxy movies cast has released an open letter that announces they “fully support” James Gunn, following the writer/director’s firing this month. Said letter includes signatures from nine of the films’ main cast members, including stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and Dave Bautista. Gunn was fired from the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 by Disney on Friday, July 20. The decision was made after conservative websites and commentators dug up old tweets posted to Gunn’s now-deleted Twitter account - wherein he makes intentionally offensive jokes about pedophilia, rape, 9/11, and other extremely sensitive topics - prior to his time working for the Mouse House and Marvel Studios on the Guardians of the Galaxy movies....

Throughout the entirety of the Game Of Thrones, audiences very rarely hear Sandor Clegane referred to by his name.
