A Godzilla fan has recreated the new trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters using footage from the Toho Godzilla movies. The character of Godzilla may have been Americanized for Hollywood blockbusters, but in 1954, Toho released the first Godzilla film. The film was titled Gojira, and revolved around a giant creature that attacked Shinagawa, after being created by American nuclear weapons testing. Over the years, Toho released dozens of Godzilla movies, many of which introduced fan-favorite characters such as Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah....

Good Omens premiered this weekend and featured a huge cast of heavenly (and some not so heavenly) creatures. Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s apocalyptic comedy lead by David Tennant and Michael Sheen introduces angels, demons, the antichrist and, as any good apocalypse story should, the four horsemen. When the antichrist is born and Heaven and Hell start gearing up for the end of the world, part of the path to war includes calling on the Four Horsemen, the traditional harbingers of the apocalypse, which, Biblically, includes the death of one quarter of the human population at their hands and on the show, they’ll presumably help bring about the end of the world/humanity while the angels and demons fight for celestial dominance....

Donald Glover, who plays Lando Calrissian in the young Han Solo spinoff movie, has wrapped his scenes. More so than previous Star Wars productions, the second anthology film has had quite a roller coaster journey to the big screen. Initially, filming was supposed to be completed in July, but the firings of original directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller set it back a bit. Ron Howard took over in late June, with the plan being to shoot until September....

The Dragon Ball franchise is about Goku, plain and simple. The series is the story of a monkey-tailed boy who grows up to be the world’s greatest warrior. He makes friends along the way who become secondary characters, but at the end of the day, Dragon Ball is still Goku’s story. Avengers: Infinity War star Mark Ruffalo said in an interview with Screen Rant that the Hulk’s first encounter with Thanos will have a lasting impact on the next two Avengers movies. The Hulk joins forces with Captain America, Iron Man, and the rest of an incredibly deep roster of heroes to battle Josh Brolin’s Thanos in Infinity War, which goes wide in just five days on April 27. The “strongest Avenger” has been featured prominently, among others, in trailers and promos for the sequel leading up to its highly anticipated release....

Aquaman actor Ludi Lin exclusively tells Screen Rant he wants to star in Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi. The Master of Kung Fu in Marvel comics is one of a few new characters who appear to be primed for a debut in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If this is going to happen, Marvel will need a star to fill the role, and may not need to look any further than Ludi Lin....

Following the news that Supergirl season 4 will include classic DC villain Lex Luthor, fans are calling for Michael Rosenbaum to reprise the role he played for seven seasons on Smallville. We’ve already met a younger Lex on the show, in a season 2 flashback to his half-sister Lena Luthor’s childhood. However, the Arrowverse’s version of Lex has been soundly defeated by Superman and is currently locked up in prison, where he is theoretically supposed to stay for the rest of his life....

Glass’ second weekend decline at the box office was much steeper than Split, but the film still finished in the top spot. The latest from director M. Night Shyamalan, Glass serves as the conclusion to the long-gestating Eastrail 177 trilogy that began with 2000’s Unbreakable. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues to barrel forward in production as fresh reports and rumors continue to surface. The sequel’s cast will include several new faces, but their roles in the movie and the significance of them are largely unknown to this point.
