With Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them officially out (and officially a hit), the interviews and discussions about several prospective sequels to the film just became that much more relevant. Fantastic Beasts has piqued the attention of Harry Potter fans across the world by giving them a tantalizing taste of the wizarding world outside of the Britain, Harry, and Hogwarts focused original series. It’s safe to say the wizarding world has gotten a whole lot bigger thanks to Fantastic Beasts....

Firewatch, the new mystery exploration game from Campo Santo, opens with a text prologue in which the player is introduced to Julia. Julia is the future wife of the game’s protagonist, Henry. The player is told the story of how they meet Julia, and embarrass themselves in front of her by being drunk. Fortunately she is charmed by this, and soon she and Henry are dating. Over the next ten minutes or so, the text prologue hurries through Julia and Henry’s relationship with a series of touching anecdotes (they decide to get a rescue dog from the pound, they talk about having children etc....

Fans of Game of Thrones are theorizing what Sophie Turner’s new tattoo may be mean for the series finale. Turner is one of the few leading cast members of Game of Thrones to survive throughout the entire series so far - and she’s slated to appear once again in the upcoming final season. The Stark family hasn’t had it easy since the show premiered. There were many times in which the family was torn apart, then almost brought back together, with only a few surviving members finally reuniting at their home in Winterfell last season....

Some gamers were surprised by Bethesda’s announcement of Fallout 76 today, but none took it quite as poorly as Reddit user TheYadda. During the company’s lengthy teaser stream yesterday, the gamer posted a thread in the Fallout subreddit titled “It’s just gonna be a [Fallout 3] remaster, guys. If I’m wrong, I’ll drink this entire 5oz bottle of Tabasco and post a video.” Reddit users love a good bet, and the thread amassed over 18,000 upvotes....

Not only is Ghidorah a fearsome foe in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, but director Michael Dougherty succeeds in delivering the best version of King Ghidorah ever. Godzilla, King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan collide in the third installment in Legendary’s MonsterVerse. Directed by Mike Dougherty, King of the Monsters sees the return of Godzilla after a group of eco-terrorists, led by Jonah (Charles Dance), come up with a plan to wake up the 17 Titans scattered across the Earth....

Director Mike Dougherty revealed several important details about Godzilla: King of the Monsters in set photos during production. Despite now releasing in May 2019, Godzilla 2 finished production in September 2017, leaving a whopping 20 months for post-production and marketing. Considering this is a major effects tentpole, that’s only to the film’s advantage, but also means there’s a lot more time for details to be revealed. Godzilla: King of the Monsters continues the story began in Gareth Edwards’ 2014 Godzilla, seeing Gojira taking on new threats from other Titans, classic monsters from his Toho mythology: Ghidorah, Rodan and Mothra....

We’re still about a year away from the release of Godzilla 2 (currently going with the title Godzilla: King of the Monsters), but it looks like the film is sharing a lead actor with the recent monster movie Rampage. But don’t expect Dwayne Johnson to be making a cameo appearance. Instead, the performance capture artist who played George the albino gorilla will be stomping on skyscrapers as Godzilla’s ultimate nemesis, King Ghidorah....

In recent weeks, Google has been testing and slowly rolling out a number of new features for Messages on Android. The company announced today that iMessage reactions, Google Photos integration, and several other capabilities will soon widely launch. On iOS, users can respond to a text with one of six Tapbacks. Historically, that action was communicated to Android phones over SMS/MMS as an annoying quoted message. The Messages by Google app will now translate that response into an actual message and display it in the bottom-right corner of the text you sent....

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has made a fortune for Marvel Studios. Despite it turning 10 years old this year, it shows no sign of slowing down or fading away with the next phase already planned out. One fan of the upcoming Venom film has determined exactly how Tom Hardy’s anti-hero would look if he had eyes. Ruben Fleischer is directing the R-rated Sony adaptation of the eponymous Marvel character, who was originally introduced as a villain but has since become more of an anti-hero. That is the route the filmmakers plan on taking with the movie. Venom will tell the story of Eddie Brock (Hardy), a journalist investigating a shadowy organization known as the Life Foundation that discovers lifeforms known as symbiotes....

In a stunning bit of news, it turns out that more characters will be making the move from The Walking Dead to its spinoff show Fear the Walking Dead. It’s an exciting night for fans of both series, as the latter show will air its season 4 premiere right after the former airs its season 8 finale. One of the most intriguing elements of Fear the Walking Dead’s fourth season is the promised crossover, which will see Morgan (Lennie James) somehow migrating between shows to end up with the Clark family....

The sixth season of Game of Thrones is almost here, and it looks like this one is going to be absolutely incredible! The series may not have much longer on screen (it’s planned to end somewhere between a seventh and tenth season), which means that we should see things start to build to a final resolution. One of the biggest things that fans are looking forward to seeing is Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and her possible return to Westeros....
