Next week, History’s Vikings welcomes WWE hall of famer Adam “Edge” Copeland for a multi-episode arc. Copeland will be playing Viking family man Kjetill Flatnose, and will appear in the next few episodes until the midseason finale in late January. At present, there’s not a lot to go on with regard to how big of a role the hall of famer will have, but the cable channel is at least making his presence known with a first look clip of episode 5, ‘The Prisoner’, which airs this Wednesday....

On his new E! spinoff, Flip It Like Disick, Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Scott Disick renovated rapper French Montana’s house. He also tackled other stunning celebrity mansions in the new reality series. Fans were first introduced to Disick, who refers to himself as “Lord Disick,” ever since he was “knighted” in London on a family trip years ago on Keeping Up With the Kardashians as Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend - and later the father of her three children....

[This is a review of Game of Thrones season 6, episode 3. There will be SPOILERS.] - Game of Thrones is one of the most diffuse storylines on television. Rarely an episode goes by that doesn’t ask the viewer to see the Seven Kingdoms from a multitude of varying perspectives. The many-headed dragon that is this sprawling story does something that, while not necessarily unique, is handled extremely well: No matter the viewpoint from which the story unfolds at any given moment, the perspective in question rarely thinks of itself as the villain of the story....

A new rumor indicates that there are three Gears of War games in development, including one Battle Royale. Originally created by Fortnite developer Epic Games, Gears of War quickly became synonymous with the Xbox brand when it was released exclusively on Xbox 360 in 2006. Microsoft Studios served as the shooter game’s publisher, and eventually decided to buy the rights to the entire series in 2014. Since then, they’ve established their own studio, The Coalition, to work exclusively on the third-person shooter....

Upcoming additions to Apple Arcade have been announced today. The cult-favorite Goat Simulator is on the list as well as the all-new Warped Kart Racers featuring characters from Family Guy, King of the Hill, American Dad!, and more. Spotted by The Verge, Apple added four new games to its list of upcoming titles for its gaming service. Badland Party is launching on May 6, the popular Goat Simulator+ is arriving on May 13, and Pro Darts 2022+ is debuting at the end of the month on May 27....

Gotham season 2 was billed as “The Rise of the Villains”, and while much of the focus was on evil mastermind Theo Galavan (James Frain), the show continued to follow Penguin’s (Robin Lord Taylor) roller coaster journey of ambition, shifting allegiances, violence, and loss. The vengeful villain’s story has always been interconnected with hero Jim Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie), from an aborted assassination in the pilot to a jointly executed one in the season 2 fall finale....

When Professor Pyg arrives on Gotham, he’ll serve as one of the show’s most depraved villains yet. Gotham the city and Gotham the series have always focused on the darker and more deranged corners of society. As the environment that bred Batman, it makes sense that so many of the city’s citizens would turn to lives of murder and destruction. And while Gotham has featured some of DC’s most despicable villains so far, they’re far from finished....

Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach are set to cowrite the live-action Barbie movie, with Gerwig also being eyed to direct. A live-action film based on Mattel’s immensely popular Barbie fashion doll-turned multimedia brand has been in development for just short of ten years now. The project has changed studios a few times along the way, but is currently set up at Warner Bros. and is expected to serve as their first collaboration with the recently-formed Mattel Films production company....

Marvel Studios found a diamond in the rough in 2014 with Guardians of the Galaxy. A movie starring unknown “heroes” where two of the main characters were a raccoon and a tree should not have worked, but director James Gunn was able to make it one of the surprise hits of the year and launched a new franchise for the MCU as a result. He began working on the sequel even before the movie hit theaters, and after all that time fans across the world are starting to be able to see his vision realized....

Apple this week officially held its highly-anticipated “Unleashed” event to unveil new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models. The event marked Apple’s second in as many months, but according to a new report, it’s unlikely that we’ll see any more major product announcements from Apple this year… Last year, Apple held three separate fall events: one in September focused on the Apple Watch and iPad, one in October focused on iPhone 12 and HomePod, and one in October to kick off the transition to Apple Silicon with a new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini....

The latest episode of Doctor Who, “It Takes You Away,” was a poignant examination of the human experience of grief and loss. It saw the Doctor and her friends stumble upon a Norwegian cabin that had been boarded up, and attempt to help the stranded child who had been abandoned inside the cottage. They soon found themselves plunged into what may be the most confusing Doctor Who adventures in years, exploring a Mirror Dimension inhabited by a cosmic force that ultimately elected to manifest itself as a talking frog....

Doctor Who season 10 begins filming on Monday, June 20, the last with Steven Moffat as showrunner. The show will see Peter Capaldi take control of the TARDIS once more, which is also widely expected (though far from confirmed) to be his last outing too. Joining him as the new companion will be Pearl Mackie, in her first major television role. The actress is currently performing to critical acclaim in London’s West End production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime....

All the trailers for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse have revealed a variety of Spider-Man costumes which will appear through the course of the movie. Now that Tom Holland’s Peter Parker has been incorporated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Into the Spider-Verse is the start of a new phase for Sony’s Spider-Man films. This animated film charts Spider-Man’s successor, Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), as he attempts to assume the mantle – and the responsibilities – that come with being a legendary superhero....

[WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Warcraft] - Given that there are over ten million people who have walked through the World of Warcraft as part of the gaming universe’s MMO, and countless others who first became acquainted with the heroes of the Alliance and Horde, the makers of Warcraft had plenty of fans to pay service to - and boy, did they. Honestly, moviegoers paying attention only to the actual story and action were likely to miss out on the easter eggs and nods to the video game that seemed to be introduced every minute....

Deadpool fans who also have a penchant for Easter eggs would be happy to know that there are several undiscovered nods in Deadpool 2 that they can look for once the “super-duper cut” edition of the film becomes available next month. Directed by David Leitch, with a script written by original writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, as well as the film’s star, Ryan Reynolds, the follow-up to 2016’s sleeper hit was bigger in scale with the addition of brand new cast members, like Josh Brolin, who played time-travelling mutant Cable and Zazie Beetz, who played Domino....

One very dedicated fan of the television series LOST has recreated its famous island setting in Far Cry 5. While the television show may be off the air now, LOST managed to capture the attention of audiences from 2004 through 2010 on ABC. The J. J. Abrams series received critical acclaim for its storytelling and its many twists throughout. The series finally ended after six seasons and over 100 episodes but fans have continued talking about the series ever since....

Finding Dory is the long-awaited followup to Disney/Pixar’s 2003 animated hit Finding Nemo, with voice cast members Ellen DeGeneres and Albert Brooks reprising their Nemo roles here as the forgetful Dory and still-somewhat-neurotic Marlin, respectively. The story this time, as crafted by Victoria Stouse (October Road) and Finding Nemo/Dory director Andrew Stanton, picks up six months after the events of Finding Nemo - as Dory recalls key details about her life before she met Marlin and Nemo (including, the location of her parents) and journeys to her old home in the waters of Monterey, California, in the hope of being reunited with the family (and friends) that she left behind....

Warner Bros. is reportedly waiting to see how Justice League performs before determining the future of the DC slate, a decision that has put Flashpoint and several other projects in limbo. WB is in the final push to get Justice League out in theaters, and hopefully launching their DC movie universe to the next level. The now storied production has not been without controversy recently, thanks to a shorter than expected runtime, but, this movie will serve as a true expansion to this world, and how well Justice League does is important for the franchise’s future....
