Dwayne Johnson’s Interpol action film Red Notice, which may co-star Gal Gadot, could begin filming as early as next January. There’s no busier actor in Hollywood right now than Johnson. And there is arguably no more bankable actor at the present time either. Coming off his latest hit Rampage, Johnson will go all-out with action again this summer, starring in the towering disaster movie Skyscraper (whose spectacularly improbable artwork already caused a bit of a stir)....

Elden Ring was just announced at E3 2019 during the Microsoft conference, which has finally confirmed that the rumored collaboration between Dark Souls creator FromSoftware and Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin is real. The rumors of a spiritual successor to Dark Souls that is being made with the help of George R.R. Martin started appearing a few months ago, but they picked up steam shortly after the final episode of Game of Thrones aired when Martin mentioned on his blog that he had been consulting on a Japanese video game....

As much as films and TV shows can often act as a form of wish fulfillment for the audience, it’s hard to deny the appeal of watching a wronged person throw off the shackles of society’s laws and get harsh vengeance of their own accord....

Google has issued an emergency Chrome update for Mac users, to fix what the company refers to as a “high-severity” security vulnerability … The company says it is “aware of reports that an exploit for CVE-2022-3075 exists in the wild.” Google is not yet providing details of the vulnerability, as it first wants to allow time for users to update, but Macworld reports that it is a fix for a heap buffer overflow....

Facebook announced today that it’s updating the “Transfer Your Information” tool to provide people with choice and control over their data. Whether you want to delete your Facebook account or just copy of all your info, the platform just rebuilt its Transfer Your Information tool with additional features. With this update, Facebook lets users export data for Photobucket and Google Calendar as well as giving a new data type to export: Facebook Events....

Warner Bros. is reportedly delaying the Fantastic Beasts 3 production start date until late Fall 2019, pushing it back from a previous Summer 2019 kickoff. The Harry Potter spinoff series launched in 2016 with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, and continued in late 2018 with the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. While the initial film was received well enough by fans and critics alike, The Crimes of Grindelwald was criticized for its twists, changes to Harry Potter lore and a number of other issues ranging from pacing to performances....

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has cautioned that the Fantastic Four and the X-Men won’t join the MCU for “a handful of years.” In December last year, Disney finalized a deal to purchase the bulk of 21st Century Fox’s movie and TV empire. The deal is now awaiting final regulatory approval, which is anticipated by summer 2019. Should the purchase be approved, Disney CEO Bob Iger has already confirmed that the Fantastic Four and the X-Men will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe....

FX has officially ordered season 4 of the series Fargo with Chris Rock to star as one of the two leads. Previous seasons of the series featured the likes of Martin Freeman, Kirsten Dunst, Billy Bob Thornton, and Ewan McGregor. Inspired by the Oscar-winning Coen Brothers movie of the same name starring Frances McDormand and William H. Macy, FX’s Fargo anthology series centers around the troubled lives of small-time criminals in the American Midwest....

As fans prepare for the return of Fear The Walking Dead, a promotional photo may just have spoiled the arrival of comic book villains the Whisperers. Current The Walking Dead showrunner Scott Gimple has already teased that the Whisperers will arrive on the main show at some point in the future, while having them appear on Fear first would be an interesting route to take. The Walking Dead is currently embroiled in its ‘All Out War’ saga with the sadistic Negan, while the next Big Bad from the comics should logically be the Whisperers and their leader Alpha....

Gal Gadot begins preparing for the start of Wonder Woman 2 filming with a social media post of herself in the gym. Director Patty Jenkins will once again helm Gadot’s second standalone flick as Diana Prince. The filmmaker also joins Geoff Johns and Dave Callaham to co-write the movie as former DCEU helmsman Zack Snyder is still attached to produce. Plot details are still scant at the moment for Wonder Woman 2, but Screen Rant’s scoop from last year that the sequel will see Diana Prince in the ’80s and at the height of the cold war has already been confirmed thanks to a brand new poster Johns shared on social media last week....

The Prince That Was Promised Season 7 went out of its way to reintroduce the Prince That Was Promised. By first having Missandei clarify the mistranslation and assert that the foretelling calls for a prince or princess that was promised, Game of Thrones reminded audiences that the call for Azor Ahai is still very much on the table. Daenerys, entitled as ever, was quite pleased to hear that princesses weren’t out of the running....

Jon Snow may or may not meet up with Daenerys on this season of Game of Thrones, but he’ll have more than enough on his plate with the White Walkers on the march. With the season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones just days away, the extra-long wait will finally be over. With only 13 episodes remaining before the series is complete, the upcoming season will have to take care of a lot....

Marvel Studios is rapidly approaching the start to their 2017 Marvel Cinematic Universe slate. For the first time in the nine year run of the MCU, they are expanding from two films a year to three. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok are both coming in the second half of the year, but it is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 that will kick off the frame for the studio. Marvel is looking for James Gunn’s ragtag group of “heroes” to build on the success of the first Guardians film, and by the looks of the marketing (specifically the use and love for Baby Groot) they should be well on their way....

News about a sequel to the hugely popular Blumhouse film Happy Death Day has been anticipated for some time, and recent industry listings have pointed to production possibly starting on Happy Death Day 2 within the next two months. Whilst there was plenty of focus on Get Out and Split during 2017, the witty horror film racked up plenty of positive reviews when it was released last October, and this could mark the beginning of another franchise for the production company....

Warning: SPOILERS ahead for Harley Quinn #55 A mass shooting at the superhero retreat, Sanctuary, has killed several of DC Comics’ heroes - among them, Poison Ivy. And while neither the culprit nor Ivy’s body have been found, the most recent issue of Harley Quinn appears to confirm that poor Pamela Isley truly is no more. The tragic shooting happens in the first issue of the DC Comics mini-series, Heroes in Crisis, but it isn’t until the second issue that Ivy is included in the list of the dead....

BBC has just released a new logo design and poster artwork for Doctor Who season 11. Following the Christmas Special debut of Jodie Whittaker in the titular role, the 55-year-running series about a time and space-traveling alien will return in the fall, and its new logo appears to be ushering in the future, while also nodding to the past. Doctor Who is one of the longest-running television series in history, debuting all the way back in November 1963....

Dragon Ball Super: Broly stands as the only film thus far to carry the Dragon Ball Super branding. The Dragon Ball franchise has been going strong for years. We may know some details on the scene Tom Holland’s Peter Parker may show up in for Venom. Sony’s Venom, set to open October 5, marks the company’s first foray back into the world of Spider-Man since 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and since their agreement with Marvel Studios allowed Peter Parker and company to play in the larger sandbox of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Marvel Studios can utilize Sony-owned characters in certain films, Sony still holds the rights to hundreds of members of Spidey’s supporting cast and, seemingly, has big plans for many of them with the Tom Hardy-led Venom taking the lead ahead of planned films that will feature Silver Sable, Black Cat, Morbius the Living Vampire and more....
