David Gordon’s Halloween will have a place at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, as confirmed by Jamie Lee Curtis herself. San Diego Comic Con is the ideal place for studios and networks to reveal footage, concept art, and share big announcements regarding their upcoming projects – especially during panels held in Hall H, where the biggest studios generally have a reserved spot. Among the biggest releases from Universal Pictures is Halloween, the long-awaited return of Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and slasher Michael Myers, in a film that completely ignores all the sequels and remakes that came after the original Halloween film back in 1978....

Fans of the Halo series are in luck, as it looks like some of the classic games could be set for a new home on the PC. Since starting back in 2001 with Combat Evolved, Halo has become one of the best-known gaming franchises out there and easily a jewel in Microsoft’s crown of exclusive titles. With last year’s Halo Wars 2 showing there is plenty of gas left in the tank, new reports suggest that developers could be looking backwards as well as forwards as Master Chief suits up again....

Three days after Kanye West broke Apple Music’s day-one streams record with Donda, Drake surpassed the 60 million US stream mark with Certified Lover Boy. Apple Music told Billboard that in under 12 hours on the platform, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy was already the most-streamed album in 24 hours in the service’s history. The album was released Friday at midnight EST and is the sixth studio album from the artist. It includes a list of star-studded rappers as Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Future, Rick Ross, and Lil Baby....

The new trailer for season 3 of Netflix’s F is for Family isn’t afraid to spread a little foul-mouthed cheer. Apple TV+ is the exclusive streaming home of the Fraggle Rock franchise. The service is already streaming the entire back catalog of episodes and a series of ‘Rock On’ shorts produced during the COVID lockdown period. However, the big news from the deal signed last year for fans of the Fraggles was that Apple had commissioned a full series reboot. The company today announced that the new series, entitled ‘Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock’, will debut on January 21, 2022....

Gilmore Girls will mark Netflix’s third high-profile revival of a beloved television show, following in the wake of Arrested Development and sequel series Fuller House. The Gilmore Girls revival will see the return of Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as their iconic characters, the mother-daughter duo of Lorelei and Rory Gilmore. Additionally on board the revival are creator and executive producer Amy Sherman-Palladino, as well as her husband Daniel Palladino, who will be serving as executive producer....

Only, due to one simple mistake, the demon Crowley misplaces the Antichrist, thus putting a snag in the war between Heaven and Hell. Along with Tennant and Sheen, the series also stars Jack Whitehall, Adria Arjona, Jon Hamm, Michael McKeen, Miranda Richardson, and Benedict Cumberbatch as the Devil, but there’s one role that begins the series solely as a voice; or, more significantly, the Voice of God....

[This is a review of Gotham season 2, episode 17. There will be SPOILERS.] - Gotham feels like it’s back on track this week, following Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie) prison escape in the previous episode. A number of ongoing storylines – including one huge development – leapt forward, and the pieces feel as if they’re falling into place for the final stretch of episodes that will wrap up season 2. Needless to say, it was a red-letter week for Gotham fans, especially those hoping to see much, much more of Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith)....

While Gotham’s new night has led to its lowest ratings yet, season 4 is all set to barrel ahead with its most ambitious episodes yet. Naturally, the focus has been on Bruce Wayne’s change into a costumed vigilante, but the many villains of Gotham are undergoing some alterations as well....

Dave Bautista confirms he’ll be playing the character of Rabban Harkonnen in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune reboot. News of Bautista’s casting broke back in January with the wrestler turned actor joining a star-studded cast that then included Timothée Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name) as Dune’s lead protagonist Paul Atreides and Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Fallout) as his mother Lady Jessica. Since then, Villeneuve has been steadily adding more talent to his cast including Oscar winner Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men) as Stilgar and Thanos actor Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck....
