Is loving romantic comedies reason enough to turn one of the best rom-coms of the ‘90s into a television series on Hulu? That’s one of several questions surrounding the high-profile (is it a re-imagining, a reboot, an homage?) 10-episode Four Weddings and a Funeral series from co-creator and executive producer Mindy Kaling. The writer, director, actor, and unabashed rom-com fan has teamed with executive producer Richard Curtis (the writer of the original film, as well as staples in the rom-com genre, like Notting Hill, Love Actually, Bridgett Jones’s Diary, and more) to develop what is a workable and often likable ensemble comedy that earns a passing grade, but struggles to transform the ideas of the original film in significant enough ways to become essential TV viewing....

Tyrion Lannister may be a fan-favorite character on Game of Thrones, but he’s had plenty of enemies on the show. Sometimes, those who appear to be closest to him turn out to be against him as in the case of the one-time love of his life, Shae. Tyrion met Shae while she was working as a prostitute, but their bond gradually grew deeper than a mere transaction. They genuinely loved each other but the distrust and betrayal led to them ending things in a deadly way....

Fire will be an even bigger (in fact, recording-setting) element in Game of Thrones season 7 than it was in previous seasons. The show is, after all, based on a series of George R.R. Martin novels called A Song of Ice and Fire. Over and over again, fire has made prominent appearances in the show’s storylines, as well as its opening credits and even its marketing (see the season 7 release date announcement by way of a melting-ice-with-fire stunt)....

A newly leaked set photo from the upcoming young Han Solo Star Wars anthology movie showcases a desert world in the galaxy far, far away - one that possibly could be the smuggler’s home. Fans are impatiently counting down the days until Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out and continues the Skywalker saga, but the second spinoff film is well into production to make its May 2018 release date. Though plot details are being kept under wraps for now (par for the course for Lucasfilm), some videos and images have highlighted star Alden Ehrenreich’s costume and some of the vehicles he’ll race....

When it comes to not messing around, no movie franchise keeps things smooth and businesslike like the Fast & Furious series, which recently went ahead and locked-in the release dates for its next (and supposedly final) three installments, and is now actively rounding up the necessary returning cast members to finish out one of the unlikeliest blockbuster megabrands a late-90s B-movie more or less stumbled into. All kidding aside, this is easier said than done, as the series is now so popular that much of its once eagerly-available cast is now a lot busier than they were previously; while others were constantly in demand to begin with....

An exclusive clip from the newest episode of Arrow season 6, ‘The Devil’s Greatest Trick,’ shows a side of Cayden James the villainous hacker hasn’t yet shown. Cayden has been in a thorn in Team Arrow’s side for quite a while now, orchestrating an effective dismantling of the vigilante group and routinely bringing Mayor Oliver Queen to heel by extorting millions of dollars from Star City after successfully staging a number of cyber attacks on the beleaguered metropolis....

Remember Facebook? The social media network you used to connect with friends and family members to know what they are up to, how their vacation was, or even play some Farmville? Well, it seems the company is trying to find itself again with its new Feeds tab. According to Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook is launching a Feeds tab “where you can see posts from your friends, groups, Pages, and more separately in chronological order....

Update: Fallout 76 will have no NPCs, only players, but will support mods eventually. It may have been a poorly kept secret, but Fallout 76 has now been confirmed as a multiplayer title by publisher Bethesda. The game was initially revealed in a shock announcement, following a long tease via a Twitch stream. Although many suggested at the time that it would be a multiplayer-focused title, the extend to which it would be multiplayer remained a mystery....

Of the nearly countless RPG franchises from Japan on the market, Final Fantasy stands as one of the most revered and celebrated. It has seen dark days, but its impact on gaming and the genre is undeniable. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels is a stranger to criticism and controversy. One of the recurring complaints about the series concerns its use of rape and sexualized violence, most recently with regard to Sansa Stark’s (Sophie Turner) storyline and the disturbing turns it took as Sana found herself forced to marry the vile - and violent - Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) in season 5....

DC Universe unveils the Harley Quinn TV show trailer at San Diego Comic-Con, confirming the fall 2019 premiere. When DC Universe was announced as a subscription streaming service that would offer fans plenty of DC content, it was also revealed some of that content would be original programming. Thus far, DC Universe has debuted four (mostly) original properties: three live-action series in Titans, Doom Patrol and Swamp Thing, as well as the animated Young Justice: Outsiders - a continuation of the Cartoon Network Young Justice series....

The Doctor Who season 11 finale featured the return of this season’s first villain - Tzim-Sha, the would-be ruler of the Stenza who the Doctor insists on calling “Tim Shaw” - but it’s led to even more questions. It’s been over 3,000 years since Tim Shaw last crossed paths with the Doctor and her friends, and his mind has fractured over the course of the millennia. He’s gone full-on megalomaniac, seeking to destroy anyone who ever opposed the Stenza - even though the episode subtly implies the Stenza Empire has long since collapsed....

One day after actor Dave Bautista - who plays the role of Drax The Destroyer in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies - joked about receiving a solo film, a mock poster has been made for just such a movie. Titled Drax, The Invisible Man, the movie is “based upon that scene from Infinity War… you remember.” Bautista’s joke, which the actor cracked on his personal Twitter account, was based on recent reports that Jared Leto, who played The Joker in Suicide Squad, would be getting his own solo movie....
