The final entry in BossLogic’s “The Last Shawarma” fan art series is here and it depicts the aftermath of the events of Avengers: Endgame. Beginning with Avengers: Infinity War, the collection of illustrations is inspired by the iconic mid-credit scene from The Avengers where all six original heroes sit down for a post-battle meal. But with Thanos’ snap dusting half of them, the middle installment featured only those who survived The Decimation....

Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters debuted on Netflix today, and we’ve got an exclusive first look at the action figures for the series. Loosely inspired by Hasbro’s classic Stretch Armstrong action figures, Stretch Armstrong and the Flex fighters is a new animated superhero show, set in a place called Charter City. Developed by the team of Kevin Burke (Avengers Assemble), Victor Cook (The Spectacular Spider-Man), and Chris Wyatt (Iron Man: Armored Adventures), Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters is but the latest addition to Netflix’s ever-growing line-up of original series....

The Food and Drug Administration has cleared what is described as the first-ever smartphone application capable of initiating insulin delivery on both iOS and Android operating systems. The system here comes from Tandem Diabetes Care, and the application ties in to the company’s t:slim X2 insulin pump. Prior to this approval from the FDA, delivery of insulin had to be handed through the pump itself. This change, however, means that users will be able to “program or cancel bolus doses of insulin” using the app for iPhone and Android devices, according to The Verge....

Disney Parks’ hotly anticipated Star Wars theme park, Galaxy’s Edge, hit capacity within an hour on opening day, with guests being allowed to come back later as part of a “boarding party.” The setting for Disney’s latest and greatest theme park is, naturally, a galaxy far, far away. Its home is the planet of Batuu at the Black Spire Outpost, with its timeline falling between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker....

HBO’s Game of Thrones is responsible for introducing some of the most beloved characters in all of the modern era of entertainment, including Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen (well, before the final season, at least), Tyrion Lannister, and Sansa Stark. Its heroes were always heroic and human, lovable and empathetic. But when it came to villains, there’s truly no other shows on TV that made characters so truly easy to hate as Game of Thrones did....

The season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones, which aired Sunday on HBO, featured the resolution of several of the cliffhangers from last year’s finale, including the fates of numerous characters who were ambiguously dead at the end of season 5. But a few things fans were expecting were absent from the first episode, including the arrival of numerous new characters, while a return of the long-absent Bran Stark and Hodor also remained elusive....

In one week, Star Wars fans will have the opportunity to decide their opinion on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The first of many standalone movies set in the Star Wars universe has been the source of many rumors with regard to extensive reshoots and Disney reportedly being unhappy with the film, leading the studio to bring in acclaimed writer-director Tony Gilroy to take the helm as it were from director Gareth Edwards, in terms of handling the reshot material....

Paramount Pictures is giving Masamune Shirow’s classic anime/manga property Ghost in the Shell the live-action blockbuster treatment, with Scarlett Johansson starring as the film’s protagonist, aka. “The Major”, and director Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) calling the shots. Following the release of a series of enigmatic teasers, the studio has now launched an official trailer for the film. The Ghost in the Shell trailer debuted during a global launch party for the film in Tokyo, where Johansson, Sanders and “Beat” Takeshi Kitano were all in attendance....

Michael Myers is going back to Haddonfield in David Gordon Green’s Halloween, hitting theaters this weekend, and while fans might have to wait for a sequel, there was originally talk about filming two sequels back-to-back. It’s been 40 years since John Carpenter’s Halloween and nine since Rob Zombie’s take on Halloween II, and a few changes had to be made in order to take the audience back to this universe....

Dolph Lungren is a legendary action star who has appeared in over 40 films including Masters of the Universe, Universal Soldier, and The Expendables. His most recent film is Creed II, where he reprises his breakout role from Rocky IV of the imposing boxer Ivan Drago. Florian Munteanu started as a boxer and athlete before becoming an actor. Creed II follows Adonis Creed as he prepares to fight the son of Ivan Drago, who killed his father in the ring 33 years ago....

Several members of the Duggar family, stars of TLC’s Counting On and 19 Kids and Counting, have sued an Arkansas city and county that released confidential details to a tabloid about their brother allegedly committing sexual abuse. The court recently ruled the lawsuit can officially proceed. The Duggars were first introduced to viewers on 19 Kids and Counting, starring Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar and their 19 children, 10 boys and nine girls, including Joshua, twins Jana and John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace, and Josie....

The Conjuring franchise began with a relatively humble start in 2013 with their first film. Starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson as their own utterly lovable version of famed demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren, the first film was a massive hit. Since the original Conjuring film, there have been several other installments that followed in the footsteps of its success. The Conjuring franchise has grown significantly since 2013 and shows no signs of winding down any time soon....

Fallout: New California is a prequel mod for Bethesda Softworks’ Fallout: New Vegas that has been in development for almost a decade, and it has finally moved into the beta stage. While Bethesda developed Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, in addition to publishing both titles, it was Obsidian Entertainment that developed Fallout: New Vegas - the fourth main, but first non-numbered, installment in the franchise - which released in 2010....

The MCU’s Spider-Man has gotten through quite a few costumes over the last few years, ranging from his home-made suit in Spider-Man: Homecoming to the Iron Spider costume he’s worn since Avengers: Infinity War. In Spider-Man: Far From Home’s ending act, Peter Parker got the opportunity to experiment in Tony Stark’s plane lab in order to make a suit of his own....

Universal’s Fast and Furious franchise, which launched nearly 15 years ago is forging ahead, despite the untimely death of Paul Walker midway through production of Fast and Furious 7. However, there will still plenty of familiar faces returning for the latest sequel, Fast and Furious 8 – including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and Jason Statham – while F. Gary Gray will assume the director’s chair fresh off the success of the NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton....

For a certain segment of fans, the greatest injustice in the history of television remains the cancelation of Firefly. Fifteen years after its run on FOX, The Browncoats – fans of the universe created by Joss Whedon (Avengers: Age of Ultron) – still clamor for more from the space pirate crew of Serenity, the Firefly-class ship that awoke their imaginations and Crazy Ivaned its way right into their hearts. So vocal was their outrage that the series made history with a 2005 cinematic sequel, Serenity, which tied up some loose ends and has since become a cult classic....

20th Century Fox has scheduled new release dates for several upcoming films, including its untitled Ford vs. Ferrari movie and Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile. This news arrives just a few days after Fox agreed to Disney’s upped purchase bid of $71.3 billion (an unprecedented amount), following a competing bid from Comcast. Disney and Fox still aren’t expected to finalize their deal until sometime next summer, at the earliest. As such, in the meantime, it’s business as usual at both film studios....

A third trailer has been released for the upcoming live-action Fullmetal Alchemist adaptation. The movie is based on the manga series by Hiromu Arakawa and the resulting two anime series and centers on two young alchemist brothers: Edward and Alphonse Elric. After losing their mother and with their father AWOL, Ed and Al decide to use the power of alchemy to resurrect their mother. They ultimately fail and in the process, Alphonse loses his body and Ed two limbs....

Netflix unveils a new, first look image from their forthcoming Ghost In The Shell anime series. The Ghost In The Shell franchise began as a Japanese manga series in 1989 but is perhaps most widely known, particularly outside of Japan, for its 1995 anime movie adaptation. From there spawned a host of related sequels, video games and TV shows but the franchise once again came to worldwide prominence in 2017 with the release of a live-action Hollywood adaptation starring Scarlett Johansson....

Marketing for Godzilla: King of the Monsters may have revealed the film’s secret villains. Though King Ghidorah is of course Godzilla’s primary adversary, it’s a group of eco-terrorists who may actually be pulling the strings and causing the monsters to fight. In the highly anticipated sequel to 2014’s Godzilla, the alpha predator will have his hands full with the emergence of three more kaiju: King Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra. A clash between the four monsters (and possibly two more Titans) will threaten to ravage the planet and destroy all of humanity, which is what will cause the secret government agency known as Monarch to intervene in an effort to prevent needless destruction....
