One of the most interesting announcements at Google’s Search-focused keynote in September was a big upgrade to Lens that lets you take a photo and ask questions about it. “Multisearch” in Google Lens is now available to beta test on Android and iOS. Multisearch is Google’s “entirely new way to search” that aims to address how you sometimes don’t “have all the words to describe what you were looking for.” It starts by taking a picture (or importing an existing one) with Google Lens and then swiping up on the results panel and tapping the new “Add to your search” button at the top....

Oscar-winning filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie is being actively courted to call the shots on DC’s Green Lantern Corps film. When Warner Bros. announced its initial slate of movies set in the DC cinematic universe (unofficially known as the DC Extended Universe), a Green Lantern movie reboot was among them. WB previously brought the Green Lantern property to the big screen in 2011, but the ill-fated project - starring Ryan Reynolds as pilot turned intergalactic superhero Hal Jordan - disappointed both critically and financially, killing its franchise potential in the process....

Fans either love or hate the movie adaptations of the Harry Potter series. Though even the biggest fans will have to admit that the movies did leave a whole lot out – there was no way to include everything without significantly increasing the run-time of the movies. Everything from characters, subplots, and minor details were cut from the films. We can immediately think of some of the more iconic moments, but there’s more to it than that....

After last season of Doctor Who saw the emotional departure of Clara Oswald, the show’s 10th outing since regenerating back in 2005 will introduce a new face into the TARDIS – as well as a somewhat familiar one. Pearl Mackie has joined the cast as Bill Potts and Little Britain star Matt Lucas will be reprising his role as Nardole from past Christmas Specials. They’ll be joining up with current Doctor, Peter Capaldi, to form the new TARDIS trio in what has been confirmed as Capaldi’s final season in the role....

When you think of Dragon Ball, images of hair turning yellow, energy auras erupting, and wanton screaming inevitably come to mind. Because, without transformations and power-ups, all we’d be left with is a bunch of oddballs eating a lot and running around with their tails between their legs (literally). However, thanks to Goku’s endless need to improve his abilities and a litany of villains who raise the stakes beyond what’s possible every time, there seems to be no end to the changes in hair color that can be achieved....

Evangeline Lilly wants Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel to lead an all-female Avengers film. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is growing and adapting with Hollywood to be more inclusive and diverse with its leads. This is a major point of concentration for Marvel Studios, where films led by women and people of color are being considered even more. Black Panther was their first film to star a non-white lead, while Ant-Man and the Wasp was the first to give a female co-billing....

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (May 4th, 2018) The next superhero sequel fans have to look forward to is arguably the biggest one we’ve ever seen. Avengers: Infinity War will see the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe (excluding the folks on TV, that is) uniting to face off against Thanos, who’s coming to Earth to gather up the remaining Infinity Stones. The biggest MCU movie to date arrives 10 years and two days after the theatrical debut of Iron Man, and it’s set to change Marvel’s shared universe as we know it forever....

After all these years the story of Game of Thrones has concluded on HBO and if you haven’t caught up yet or need to rewatch those grand scale battles and final character moments, season 8 is now available on Digital Download. In addition to the hit series’ concluding six episodes, theDigital Download version of Game of Thrones season 8 includes the two-hour feature documentary Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, by filmmaker Jeanie Finlay, and two featurettes: “The Long Night” and “The Final Season”....

Refuting a recent report, director Matthew Vaughn reveals that Liam Neeson is not in the upcoming Kingsman prequel film. Based on the comic book series The Secret Service by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar, the original Kingsman came out in 2014 and went on to gross a surprising $414 million at the global box office. The franchise continued with 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle, which was also a solid hit with $410 million globally....

Fallout 76 has become one of the most talked about games due for an imminent arrival. The title marks the first time that the Fallout series has made the jump to multiplayer, swapping what was previously a solitary RPG experience for a massively multiplayer online format. Reaction to the news overall has been mixed, with some excited about the title and others a little more cautious about how they expect the game to fare....

The Five Nights at Freddy’s film is starting from scratch as game creator Scott Cawthon turns down the existing script for the project. It was back in 2015 when Warner Bros. announced that they acquired the rights to adapt the game series on the big screen with Roy Lee, David Katzenberg, and Seth Grahame-Smith all attached to produce. Shortly after that Gil Kenan was tapped to direct the movie, as well as co-write it with Tyler Burton Smith....

After spending months developing multiple spinoff shows, the network finally ordered a Game of Thrones prequel series last month. The latest episode of Gotham season 5 potentially sets up how Barbara Gordon - better known to the city’s criminals as Batgirl - could exist within the show’s continuity. Essentially serving as a Batman prequel series, Gotham is centered around the early exploits of Jim Gordon, the man who eventually becomes the DC Universe’s famous Commissioner. However, flicking on the Bat-signal when things get tough isn’t Gordon’s only contribution to Batman mythology - he’s also the father of Barbara Gordon....
