There are people on the Internet who really do not want to like Paul Feig’s upcoming Ghostbusters reboot; that much is clear from its trailer’s status as the most ‘disliked’ movie trailer in YouTube history. With Feig in the director’s chair and a roster of talented comedic actresses in the lead, though, not everyone shares that sentiment. It is certainly true that there has been a vocal contingent of people online who do not like the idea of an all-female Ghostbusters team any more than they liked the idea of a female lead in Star Wars: The Force Awakens....

DOJ antitrust lawyers have asked to make 10 minutes of oral argument during the upcoming Apple versus Epic Games appeal. The Department of Justice wants to follow up its previous written brief, which argues that the court erred in finding mostly in Apple’s favor. Technically, the DOJ isn’t appearing for either side, but the argument it makes supports Epic’s contention that the App Store is in breach of antitrust laws …...

The US Federal Trade Commission just hit the App Store critics at Epic Games with the “largest penalty ever” for children’s privacy violations and targeting kids with unwanted charges. The makers of Fortnite settled with the FTC for over half a billion dollars, according to the FTC statement. The massive penalty includes two “record-breaking settlements,” says the FTC. Epic Games failed to protect children’s privacy and violated the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)....

It looks like Dwayne Johnson’s Fast and Furious spinoff - frequently referred to as Hobbs & Shaw - has taken some important steps towards production. A new report suggests that David Leitch (Deadpool 2) is tapped to direct, a precise date has been set for the first day of shooting, and that three destinations have already been locked in for filming locations. Die hard fans of the cult classic television show Buffy The Vampire Slayer have long been hoping for a small screen reboot, and it seems they’re not alone. The show, which recently celebrated the 21st anniversary of its creation, ran for 5 years on The WB before switching to UPN for its final two seasons. With numerous television shows getting the reboot treatment, including other supernatural hits like Charmed and Roswell, a Buffy reboot would definitely be a welcome addition to any network lineup....

Perhaps one of the biggest headscratchers of Friends was how Ross not only managed to date multiple amazing women, but the fact that he was also married multiple times. Ross didn’t come across as the greatest friend, let alone a great boyfriend or husband. Furthermore, there were problems and things that just didn’t make sense in pretty much every single one of his relationships. For the most part, each could probably be explained by the fact that Ross was one of the main characters and therefore fans were expected to be on his side....

[This is a review of the Galavant season 2 premiere. There will be SPOILERS.] - It’s quite mystifying that ABC renewed Galavant – the short-series musical comedy set in a medieval fantasyland. By no means was the series a big ratings pull in season 1, playing mostly to a niche crowd who enjoy the comedy of Monty Python and Mel Brooks and have an unadulterated love of musical theater. Still, given its hefty time slot competition, Galavant performed well enough to earn a second season – something the show itself can’t quite believe either....
