FX continues to push for its place as the most interesting network on television with a first look trailer at Fosse/Verdon limited series starring Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams. The series was announced in the summer of 2018, and promised a compelling look into the life and love of acclaimed filmmaker and choreographer Bob Fosse, as well the relationship he shared with Broadway great Gwen Verdon. It’s an ambitious project that seems right up both Rockwell and Williams’ alleys, as it affords the Academy Award winners a chance to star in what will likely be labeled a prestige TV drama, albeit one that will likely appeal to a wide audience, as it counts Lin-Manuel Miranda and The Americans’ Joel Fields among its producers, and “also stars Norbert Leo Butz as Paddy Chayefsky and Margaret Qualley as Ann Reinking....

Briefly touched upon in the Game of Thrones series and described further in George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, Valyria has both a rich and tragic history. The Valyrian Peninsula, the southern coast of central Essos, was the heartland of the now extinct Valyrian Freehold. Mostly destroyed by “The Doom of Valyria,” what was once a booming empire is now a wasteland, with the largest surviving fragment, Valyria, left partially intact - ironically preserved by the very ash that destroyed it....

Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima will feature a progression system which can evolve the player character into a “samurai commando”. The trailer for Ghost of Tsushima, which was revealed during Sony’s E3 press conference, shows the game’s protagonist, Jin, making use of several talents outside of the normal skillset of the samurai, which demonstrates how the main character progresses through the game story. The game is developed by Sucker Punch Productions, the makers of the Infamous series....

While everyone knows God of War’s muscular lead as Kratos, it turns out the gaming franchise’s protagonist nearly went by a completely different name. Since 2005’s Greek mythology God of War through to last year’s Nordic reinvention, Kratos had carried the weight of the world on his shoulders and always gone by the same name. Stig Asmussen currently works at Respawn Entertainment and is the director of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, however, his roots are with God of War....

A new synopsis for Godzilla vs. Kong has been released now that the film has started production. Godzilla first appeared in the Japanese film Gojira in 1954. The character has since starred in multiple follow-ups, but most recently appeared stateside in the 2014 film Godzilla, directed by Gareth Edwards. King Kong made his cinematic debut even earlier, in 1933. The giant gorilla has made several appearances in films since then, including Peter Jackson’s award-winning King Kong in 2005, and the Oscar-nominated Kong: Skull Island in 2017....
