Previous episodes had hinted that the daughter of Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen from the year 2049 had several secrets she was hiding from her parents, as well as Team Flash. This was confirmed in the final scene of The Flash season 5 midseason finale, “What’s Past Is Prologue,” as Nora traveled forward in time to report to her master in-person....

After years stuck in production hell, Gambit may finally start filming with word that the movie has a working title. A few years back, news began emerging that Fox was in the market for a solo film focusing on popular X-Men character Gambit. With the prospect of Hugh Jackman finally leaving the role of Wolverine, the studio needed a new lead to anchor the franchise, and the charismatic, card-throwing mutant seemed like the perfect fit....

Mad Max: Fury Road director and writer, George Miller, remains confident that multiple sequels will happen eventually. The Mad Max franchise began back in 1979, with Mel Gibson taking on the title role. Set within a post-apocalyptic Australian landscape, the original Mad Max received widespread acclaim, particularly for its action and visuals, and two sequels followed in the 1980s. After an extended hiatus, Miller revived the franchise with Mad Max: Fury Road, starring Tom Hardy in Gibson’s former role and Charlize Theron as Furiosa....

For as long as there have been superheroes, there have been superhero showdowns, instances where two normally good characters have a disagreement so severe that there is no recourse left but to settle things through good old fashioned fisticuffs. This year alone, audiences have already witnessed two instances of heroes fighting it out on-screen, those being DC’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War. In the annals of superherodom, though, it’s hard to think of a pair more naturally suited to face off than Blade and Ghost Rider....

The latest iteration in Warner Bros./Legendary’s Monsterverse, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, has proved to be a hit among Godzilla devotees. With the next film, Godzilla vs. Kong only a year away, kaiju buffs have plenty to be excited about, including the possibility of new monsters coming to American shores. It’s not like Legendary is going to run out of monsters for Godzilla to fight anytime soon. Toho’s collection of city-crushing creatures is vast and goes back almost sixty-five years....

Google released the initial beta of its browser in September 2008 and over 13.5 years later Chrome is getting updated to version 100 today. The “Chrome” name reflects Google’s desire to have a minimal interface compared to other browsers of that era, as well as be fast, i.e. speedy cars. There’s still just one “Omnibox” for entering URLs and making web searches with navigation controls and other buttons to the left/right of the field, while tabs appear at the top....

Louisa May Alcott’s novel Little Women was an immediate success when it was published in 1868, and has since been adapted to film, television, and theatre multiple times, each version with a unique touch. Set in 1860s Massachusetts, Little Women centers on the women of the March family - Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy - and their passage from childhood to womanhood, while also touching on themes like family, love, grief, and gender roles....

Valve founder and president Gabe Newell once again teased the possibility of Half-Life 3 at an internal event Thursday night when the team and selected community members were celebrating the release of the new Index VR headset. Valve, the studio behind the PC gaming platform Steam, has only released a handful of their own games, and they’re almost universally beloved. However, Valve has a history of releasing sequels to their most popular titles, but never following up with a third iteration....

November 2015 saw the release of Fallout 4, Bethesda Game Studio’s latest entry in the popular role-playing game series. Seven years after the developer’s previous entry, players were eager to return to the post-apocalyptic wasteland, fighting for caps and trying to survive the inhospitable environment. That anticipation translated to record sales for Bethesda, with the collectible Pip-Boy Edition selling out within hours of becoming available for preorder. Fallout 4 delivered a massive open world with innumerable side quests and miscellaneous objectives, drawing in players for potentially hundreds of hours....

Far Cry 5 took the elements that made the series great and mixed them into a heady Molotov cocktail of action and politics. The story picks up in Hope County, Montana. You play an unnamed junior sheriff who must liberate Hope County from the Project at Eden’s Gate cult, which is fronted by its charismatic leader Jacob Steed. This is done in true Far Cry fashion, as players can liberate areas, explore the game’s huge open world map, and battle against the less-than-hospitable wildlife....

When AMC announced it was creating a prequel spinoff to ratings juggernaut The Walking Dead, there was a healthy mix of skepticism and excitement. Sure, TWD was and continues to be a ratings phenomenon, but the question remained: Would adding a second zombie-based show to AMC’s schedule risk over saturating the genre? With regard to the ratings of Fear the Walking Dead so far, the resounding answer to that question appears to be: “no....

The turn-based nature of most JRPGs means that you need more patience than skill in order to finish the game. It takes a lot of practice and hand-eye coordination to become good at action and fighting games, while most Dragon Quest and Pokémon titles can be completed by just engaging in a lot of random encounters and reaching high-levels, as even the end boss won’t be a match for a group of level ninety-nine characters....

Gotham’s fourth season will be pitting two of its biggest villains against each other again, with The Riddler and The Penguin now on opposite sides. But their relationship has been a complicated one from the start, especially when Oswald began to develop genuine romantic feelings for Nygma. Amidst all the discussion and debate over who might take over from Peter Capaldi as the next Doctor, it’s easy to forget that there’s a new season of Doctor Who right around the corner. It will, of course, be Capaldi’s last; he’s set to bow out in the 2017 Christmas special at the same time as current showrunner, Steven Moffat. Incoming showrunner, Chris Chibnall, has yet to make any casting decisions, so for now we can focus on Capaldi, who is returning to the TARDIS after an absence of almost 18 months....

Dwayne Johnson has confirmed he and The Fate of the Furious costar Vin Diesel didn’t shoot any scenes together for the sequel. Johnson made his debut in the franchise with Fast Five, playing a relentless federal agent named Hobbs who was tasked with hunting down Dom’s crew. Hobbs added some much needed fresh blood to the franchise, and the character would go on to play an important role in the following three sequels....

Back at WWDC in 2020, Apple unveiled its plans to offer more detailed and powerful routing features for electric vehicles with Apple Maps. That feature appears to have quietly launched as part of iOS 15.4 this week for Ford users, and Ford has already published a new support document detailing how Mach-E drivers can take advantage of it.
