Evidence is starting to pile up that Game of Thrones season 8 won’t be hitting the small screen until 2019, now that cast member Liam Cunningham has confirmed that the show will be shooting into summer 2018. Game of Thrones is coming off its most watched season ever, with season 7. Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford is involved in a seriously messy lawsuit filed by a former Gearbox employee. Gearbox’s former general counsel, Wade Callender, alleges that Pitchford took a secret $12 million bonus in 2016, among other more severe claims. Gearbox is the studio that brought the gaming world the Borderlands series and the failed Battleborn, and if the developer wasn’t down on its luck enough already, this latest legal trouble involving CEO Randy Pitchford will likely be doing it no favors....

Halide, one of the most popular professional camera apps for iPhone and iPad, has been updated this week with important new features for users. In addition to improving the “Image Rescue” feature introduced in 2020, the update also finally adds batch actions on photos to the app. As detailed in the update release notes, Halide now features batch actions, a feature that lets users interact with multiple photos at once. For example, you can select two or more photos to share or delete – something that wasn’t possible before....

Happy Death Day is a fun, if silly, blending of various genre tropes that is fueled by a strong lead performance from Rothe. The official BBC Doctor Who Twitter account recently shared a delightful picture of the new Doctor (Jodie Whitaker) and franchise favorite River Song (Alex Kingston) together at SDCC 2018.
