While most of the conversation was about Zimmer’s career, they also talked about Spatial Audio – which is something the musician seems to enjoy quite a bit. Zimmer also mentioned that Jony Ive sent him new headphones created by Apple’s former design chief. Zimmer told Lowe that he never listens to his own soundtracks “because usually they’re on stereo....

Omega Rassilon has had the “megalomaniac rogue Time Lord” gig well and truly pinned down in modern-era Doctor Who but arguably the biggest classic villain yet to appear, Omega, could give him a run for his Gallifreyan money. With a visual appearance that fuses Sauron and Doctor Doom, Omega certainly has the intimidation factor and a contemporary makeover could make the villain truly menacing. Last seen on television being defeated by the Fifth Doctor, Omega has a natural hatred for Time Lords and control over the power of anti-matter, positioning him as a powerful opponent for the Doctor to encounter....

The popular Documents iOS app by Readdle has received a valuable update today. The main new feature is an overhauled Action Menu that makes it more seamless than ever to organize, copy/move, rename, and edit your various files by dynamically changing the buttons based on what type of file you’re looking at. Readdle launched Documents 8.3 on the App Store today and shared more details in a blog post: The goal of the new Action Menu is to provide “a list of actions tailored to the specific file format that you’re working with, so you have only the most relevant actions at hand....

Back in 2001, writer/director Richard Kelly unleashed both his first feature film and what most still regard as his best work: Donnie Darko. An ’80s-set coming-of-age tale crossed with a sci-fi thriller, Darko starred a young Jake Gyllenhaal as the titular character, a quirky teenager with few friends and a desire to mostly be left alone. That is until he meets Gretchen Ross, a sort of kindred spirit. The two quickly fall for each other, but Donnie hardly has time to focus on his personal life, what with his ongoing premonitions of disaster that just happen to be accompanied by the presence of a man in a creepy bunny suit....

A datamine leak revealed that 11 characters are coming to Dr. Mario World. Nintendo’s latest mobile game launched this week, and features a new spin on the classic Dr. Mario gameplay. Since 2016 with the release of the now defunct Miitomo, Nintendo has entered the mobile market with mixed success. Super Mario Run was popular upon release, but lacked the staying power of other mobile titles. On the flip side, Fire Emblem Heroes might be Nintendo’s most successful mobile title and remains popular today....

After BioWare released a teaser trailer for Dragon Age 4, fans of the franchise immediately began to formulate theories about what the next installment of the Dragon Age series might entail. Avengers star Elizabeth Olsen will headline a dramedy series developed by Facebook for its recently launched streaming service Facebook Watch. This marks an acceleration for Facebook as they continue ramping up their new service, which debuted only last August. Most of the content offered thus far has been of the short-form variety, with an emphasis on sports, human interest and dating/reality programs. Though the roll-out of Facebook Watch content has been modest, the company expects to speed things up in coming months....

Way back in 2017, a security researcher created a fake apple.com website where the URL looked completely correct. The trick was that the domain he registered used a unicode character that looks like an “a” but is in fact a Cyrillic character. Looking at the source material, the character in the most danger is of course Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey. The official Game of Thrones Twitter account has revealed the exact wording of Jon’s latest letter to Sansa in season 7. Kit Harington’s King in the North sent a raven to Sophie Turner’s Lady of Winterfell to explain the outcome of the big meeting in King’s Landing, where Leda Headey’s Cersei Lannister – in a move later revealed to be a cold, hard lie – pledged her soldiers to the battle against the White Walkers....

Game Of Thrones Season 7: New Cast Members As we enter the final two seasons of Game of Thrones, we are going to see fewer new characters introduced to the story. The show is now dedicated to wrapping up the existing plot threads and can’t waste time introducing new ones. There will be a few new characters introduced in the seventh season of Game of Thrones. The main ones that we know of include an Archmaester of the Citadel, who is played by Jim Broadbent (an actor best known for playing Horace Slughorn in the Harry Potter movies) and Alys Karstark, who is played by Megan Parkinson....

The revamped Ghostbusters movie is really picking up steam now. A couple weeks ago, Paul Feig (Spy) and Sony unveiled a slick new website. And yesterday, the marketing team released a teaser for the full trailer, which is slated to launch in early March, giving fans their first major look at the new chapter in the Ghostbusters saga. Those looking forward to the new flick can also catch a glimpse of some of the upcoming merchandise being released in conjunction with the film....

Grey’s Anatomy is one of the longest-lasting, successful medical dramas in TV history. However, its portrayal of medical practices and hospital etiquette sometimes leave much to be desired. There are also, surprisingly, instances in which many of the characters successfully follow traditional rules and guidelines of hospital practice, but other times, they don’t. Many things that occur in virtually every episode would be enough to get a doctor dismissed in the real world, although the dreamy soap opera landscape of Grey’s Anatomy doesn’t quite fit in with the real world, so things are a little more lenient....

The first plot details for Halloween 2018 have been revealed after the first trailer premiered at CinemaCon. The new Halloween will be released in time to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the franchise, which kickstarted the modern-day slasher trend. While the movie will be the 11th installment in the series, the story will ignore all prior entries besides the original. The film also marks the return of Jamie Lee Curtis to the franchise, reprising her iconic role as Laurie Strode....
