Since their first film, Marvel Studios has made an effort to give viewers a little something extra after the credits have begun to roll. It all started with Iron Man and Samuel L. Jackson debuting as Nick Fury, but has since evolved into something that fans demand to see. The mid and post-credits scenes have been used to introduce new characters like Fury, provide a fun gag like the shawarma bit after The Avengers, or tease the future of these characters, like Doctor Strange’s appearance in Thor: Ragnarok....

Some new videos have revealed more info on the new Doom movie – including the return of the iconic BFG 9000. This won’t be the first time a movie version of Doom has been attempted, of course. Dwayne Johnson, Karl Urban, and Rosamund Pike all starred in the 2005 adaptation, which featured a team of marines being sent to Mars to prevent an outbreak of genetically engineered monsters. Despite a decent cast and a substantial budget, the movie’s poor script and dull first hour let it down, though the first-person shooter sequence was a lot of fun....

Originally announced in January, Nintendo has finally laid out the details and release for its latest foray into mobile gaming: Dr. Mario World. Nintendo is still relatively new to games on mobile devices. The company has released the now defunct Miitomo, Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, and Dragalia Lost. In the near future, Nintendo will launch the anticipated Mario Kart Tour. The original Dr. Mario is a highly liked puzzle game similar to Tetris....

Denis Villeneuve is without question one of the hottest directors in Hollywood right now. The filmmaker is currently riding high with an Oscar nomination for his thoughtful and imaginative sci-fi film Arrival, and later this year his star will rise even higher when he releases the long-awaited sequel to Ridley Scott’s science fiction classic Blade Runner, entitled Blade Runner 2049. Billionaire Elon Musk took over as owner and CEO of Twitter last week following a long saga between himself and the company. Now that he’s in charge of the social network, one of his first orders was to completely revamp the account verification program. On Tuesday, Musk confirmed that anyone will be able to get a “blue checkmark” plus some other benefits for $8 a month. Unused concept art for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 featuring Matthew McConaughey as Ego the Living Planet has been revealed. Dr Loomis will return for Halloween 2018 via a vocal cameo. Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) was the psychiatrist in charge of treating Michael Myers after he stabbed his sister to death as a boy on Halloween night. Loomis soon realized Michael was pure evil, but despite attempting to keep him locked up for life, Michael escape and returned to his hometown 15 years later, launching a bloody rampage. Loomis gave chase and shot Michael in the finale – only for the killer’s body to vanish....

With the first current-gen Halo title released in the form of Halo 5: Guardians, fans have come to expect a lot from the Halo team in the way of constant content updates. And 343 Industries has not let them down.
