The franchise has done a good job at increasing the sense of danger as new threats arise, but at a certain point, the scale was thrown out of balance and now everyone is just extremely overpowered. Dragon Ball has learned new ways to generate suspense and intrigue its audience, but one element that’s still in full bloom is the series’ love for new transformations and hitting new plateaus of power....
