Gotham actor Cameron Monaghan finally got to become the Joker last night, and he used the opportunity to poke fun at Justice League’s CGI issues and the infamous Snyder cut. Fans have been waiting for years to see Gotham finally adapt The Joker - or at least confirm Jerome was the show’s Clown Prince of Crime. But the past few weeks have finally promised to do so. After a fake-out last week, we theorized Cameron Monaghan would still play The Joker in the form of Jerome’s twin Jeremiah....

There’s something about Vegeta that Dragon Ball fans can’t help but love. FOX’s Batman prequel series Gotham is set to begin its final season in early 2019, and according to the new trailer, it will make good on its promise to give audiences a glimpse at the young Dark Knight. Star Wars prequel trilogy star Ewan McGregor says he’s still interested in doing a Star Wars spinoff movie featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson plays himself in the trailer for Fighting with My Family, a comedy/drama inspired by professional wrestler Paige’s real-life story. The film is specifically based on Max Fisher’s 2012 documentary The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family, which explores Saraya-Jade Bevis’ journey to becoming WWE sensation Paige in an up closer and personal fashion. Written and directed by Stephen Merchant (who also has a small role in the film), Fighting with My Family stars Florence Pugh as Paige, a young English woman who makes her living wrestling alongside her brother Zak (Jack Lowden), mother Julia (Lena Headey), and reformed gangster father Ricky (Nick Frost) in smaller venues....

Marvel’s latest season recap poster for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. puts the focus on Ghost Rider as the show heads towards episode 100. A Fox shareholder has filed a lawsuit in opposition to Disney’s proposed purchase of the bulk of 21st Century Fox’s film and media empire. Robert Weiss, leading other shareholders, filed his lawsuit on Friday in Delaware federal court. In December last year, Disney and Fox finalized a deal that has the potential to reshape Hollywood. Fox executives reportedly believe the company lacks the scale to compete in a digital age, and thus are aiming to get out of the film and TV industry and focus in on news....

Update: James Gunn says Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will “set up the next 10-20 years of Marvel movies.” James Gunn is currently working on the script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but that isn’t the only cosmic film Marvel Studios is developing. The Marvel Cinematic Universe to this point has been rather Earth-centric, despite having an entire universe to explore; the Thor franchise was the greatest escape from Midgard, but both films have had a heavy tie to Earth....
