A brand new teaser has been released for the eighth, final season of Game of Thrones and there’s plenty of Stark-based symbolism to analyze and explore over the next few months. Game of Thrones fans have had an extended wait for this final chapter in David Benioff and D.B. Weiss’ A Song of Ice and Fire adaptation and although the forthcoming season is only six episodes in length, the run promises to be the most epic and cinematic yet....

Fans of the once hit show Glee who are longing for a reboot of the high school musical comedy series aren’t alone. The first poster for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 left a little to be desired, as it more closely resembled a collection of photoshopped images from the first film rendered tastefully in black-and-white. The Guardians of the Galaxy return next summer to theaters and principal photography is nearly complete on the sequel which brings back the ragtag group of cosmic heroes with a new addition in Mantis (Pom Klementieff). The official Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 cast was announced by Marvel Studios in February revealing that nearly everyone from the first movie is returning (except for Benicio Del Toro and John C. Reilly) alongside a few new faces whose characters weren’t revealed at the time....

From 2010 to 2013, one of the vert best superhero shows on television was Young Justice. The animated series, which aired on Cartoon Network for two seasons, followed a group of DC Comics’ greatest sidekicks who teamed up to form their own super squad. The European Commission has been trying to introduce legislation to standardize ports on mobile devices for almost a decade. Despite many false starts, its latest efforts are seriously making their way through the commission process. A draft proposal was presented today that would require USB-C to become the standard port across smartphones, tablets, headphones and more devices sold in the EU. Facebook on Thursday announced multiple new features coming to Facebook Groups as the company held its sixth Facebook Communities Summit. Because groups are very popular among Facebook users, Meta is now bringing Reels, more options for moderators, and other changes to these groups. Goosebumps is a cultural phenomenon that pretty much affected anyone who couldn’t get enough terrifying tales as a child. A variation of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark for the Millennial set, the expansive series freaked-out children everywhere, who clutched R.L. Stine’s books in their white-knuckled hands, as well as watching Goosebumps come to life on TV and on the big screen in 2015 (with a sequel on the way)....

During production on his latest sci-fi love story, The Shape of Water, Guillermo del Toro nearly died. He was in the middle of shooting a scene involving Michael Shannon, which required the actor to park a car and exit. Only, Shannon had trouble controlling the car, and it subsequently rolled through the set, nearly crashing directly into the film’s director. Del Toro told the story during one of THR’s annual Roundtables segments....
