On Twitter, users have been sharing complaints about WhatsApp, Messenger, and other Facebook apps not working on Friday. It’s unclear what is causing today’s outage. The company has acknowledged the problem and says it’s “working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible....

The first season of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead, the spinoff of cable’s most popular show, The Walking Dead, faced stiff competition; namely, competing with the expectations of its parent show, before it built to a tense and horrifying finale. Yet FTWD turned out to be a claustrophobic little show which had its own flavor, while also introducing fans of both series to a more intimate portrait of the beginning of the end....

Producer Amy Pascal reveals that upcoming Spider-Man spinoffs from Sony Pictures Entertainment will remain separate from Tom Holland’s version of the wall-crawling hero and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the crown jewel character currently being managed creatively by Marvel Studios, Sony is banking on the hero’s tie-in characters to build their own interconnected franchise. Kicked off by Tom Hardy’s Venom last year, there’s a slew of projects coming from the budding comic book universe, with characters like Morbius and Kraven the Hunter in the pipeline....

Following the iPhone 13 announcement on Tuesday, Apple mentioned that the Pro models have a more powerful GPU than the regular models — although they share the same CPU from A15 Bionic chip. Now a Geekbench result shows that iPhone 13 Pro delivers up to 55% better graphics performance when compared to last year’s iPhone 12 Pro. As found by MacRumors, someone with access to an iPhone 13 Pro unit performed a Geekbench test, which is a benchmark tool for comparing the performance of smartphones and other devices....

Rewatching classics from our childhood and teen years can be a dangerous decision. Something that seemed so innocent and pure can show it’s true colors with age; or, at least, with more social context. Although not every movie and series is capable of making us feel iffy, Friends certainly does. This is not to say that Friends is in any way a bad show; in fact, it was a very good show....
