Marvel’s goal, she explained, was to ensure the MCU Spider-Man felt fresh and original....

Early concept art for Avengers: Infinity War shows Doctor Strange transporting Thanos to another dimension. Not only were the Mad Titan and Sorcerer Supreme two characters who received significant screen time and development in the movie, their individual paths met on Titan where they showed their full display of powers. Although Marvel Studios set up both Thanos and Doctor Strange in earlier stages of the MCU, it was Avengers: Infinity War that revealed the most dynamic aspects of the two characters....

It’s going to be a rough year for Doctor Who fans - with only the 2016 Christmas Special to sate viewers until the show’s return in 2017. Dragon Ball is a series that has captivated audiences for many decades and for hundreds of episodes and chapters of material. When a series exists for that long, it’s understandable for it to evolve and change over the cross of its existence. In its infancy, Dragon Ball leaned more towards humor than it did action and it took place in a fantastical universe, but one that still seemed relatively grounded. Over time, though, this would change and it later became clear that audiences really responded to the series’ battles and that this would eventually become the franchise’s bread and butter....

Characters fly around at high speeds firing energy out of their hands and if someone dies, no problem! Summoning a dragon with seven magic balls will put things right. Godzilla: King of the Monsters now officially has the lowest opening weekend in the MonsterVerse franchise. The Grudge reboot, Grudge, has moved from June 21, 2019 to a January 3, 2020 release date. The hit Japanese supernatural horror brand The Grudge originally got a U.S. makeover back in 2004. Sarah Michelle Gellar starred in the film as an American care worker living in Tokyo who encounters a vengeful spirit when she goes to care for an older woman whose home (to put it mildly) has a dark history....

Although he’s not allowed to explicitly reveal his involvement, it sounds like Jon Favreau will be making an appearance in Anthony and Joe Russo’s Avengers: Infinity War next year. At this point, there are many people involved in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, both in front of and behind the scenes, though Favreau continues to have a unique role within the ever-expanding universe. He not only launched the ground-breaking shared universe almost a decade ago by directing Iron Man – and then followed-up by directing Iron Man 2 – but he has also played an integral character in Tony Stark’s life, Happy Hogan....

Arguably the best Doctor of all time, David Tennant is, to many, the face of Doctor Who. The new 13-inch MacBook Pro, which features Apple’s M2 chip, has finally arrived in stores and also in the hands of customers. While M2 brings performance improvements compared to M1, it seems that this is not the case when it comes to storage speed. Tests done with the new M2 MacBook Pro reveal that its entry-level model has a slower SSD than the M1 model. As noted by YouTube channels like Max Tech and Created Tech (via MacRumors), the base model of the new M2 MacBook Pro, which has 256GB of storage, delivers slower SSD speeds compared to the previous generation 13-inch MacBook Pro with M1....

The crossover event Elseworlds revealed that a surprising number of Batman characters exist in the Arrowverse. While previous episodes of Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl have made off-hand references to The Dark Knight and had some of his enemies make an appearance, for the most part, the Arrowverse hasn’t explored the world of Gotham City until now. Elseworlds explained the reasons for this somewhat, with Oliver Queen believing - like most of the world, apparently - that Batman is an urban myth created by the Gotham City Police Department to scare criminals into behaving themselves....

Thanos is coming to collect his Infinity Stones in Avengers: Infinity War, and Marvel’s heroes are going to pay for every one of them. Fans of the MCU films so far could argue they already have, since the Infinity Stones have acted as the foundation for most of the cast’s introduction. As a result, half of the Infinity Stones now rest in the care of Vision, Doctor Strange, and Loki. That means they have something Thanos wants and, as the story demands, something he will get....

New fan art imagines John Krasinski and Emily Blunt as Fantastic Four heroes Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic and Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman. The pair can be seen as totally different kinds of heroes in Paramount’s A Quiet Place, which drew near-universal acclaim and is projected for a successful opening weekend with $40-plus million at the domestic box office. Despite the new fictional account of Krasinski and Blunt in the Fantastic Four, they were both almost cast in the actual Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain America and Black Widow, respectively....
