The co-writer of Avengers: Endgame has revealed that the oft-proposed method through which Ant-Man could defeat Thanos (through his butt) wouldn’t have worked. And it’s not because of the smell. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes experienced their first true loss in Avengers: Infinity War, when Thanos succeeded in his quest to acquire all of the Infinity Stones, using them to wipe out half of all life in the universe. In the months that followed, theories raged as to how the remaining heroes could avenge the fallen and undo Thanos’ actions....

Dominic Toretto is without a doubt one of the greatest drivers in the history of cinema. It’s Friday the 13th, and yet once again we’ve failed to get a new entry in the infamous horror franchise. In fact, it’s been 18 Friday 13ths since a new Jason Vorhees adventure released, 2009’s Michael Bay remake. This is the longest gap between movies in the franchise since it started in 1981 with Sean Cunningham’s low-budget, well-marketed Friday the 13th (the previous biggest gap was the eight years between Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday in 1993 and Jason X in 2001)....

Some of the capes on Game of Thrones come from a surprisingly modern source. Costume designers on TV shows have an enormous job. Between the main cast, the guest stars, and the background extras, they are responsible for the clothing worn by hundreds and hundreds of people every season. The challenge can grow when the show is set in a different time period, or is a fantasy or sci-fi show. And in a show with as large a cast as Game of Thrones, which has both historical and fantasy elements, the job is massive....

While war rages this season on Game of Thrones, the actors couldn’t be having more fun as evidenced by new behind-the-scenes photos. As is always the case with HBO’s hit show, this season of Game of Thrones has been brutal and violent. Godzilla: King of the Monsters will feature Rodan, Mothra, and King Ghidorah - but the latest trailer appears to show two more mystery Titans emerging from the Earth. Directed by Michael Dougherty, King of the Monsters is the sequel to 2014’s Godzilla and is set in the “MonsterVerse,” a cinematic universe that also includes Kong: Skull Island. In the MonsterVerse, the Earth was once ruled by giant creatures called Titans, who were worshipped and feared by earlier civilizations, and are now re-emerging from their dormant states to wreak havoc....

Bethesda’s big reveal of Doom Eternal at QuakeCon 2018 came with a surprise addition that players can invade each other’s campaigns as demonic creatures. Although the leading Doomguy is still the focus of id Software’s latest game, QuakeCon showed off an impressive array of deadly demons to do battle with. As QuakeCon’s Doom Eternal gameplay footage took fans to the decrepit ruins of Earth and the Martian moon of Phobos, there was a real sense of bigger is better in the sequel to 2016’s Doom....

Dwayne Johnson confirmed his character Hobbs won’t be appearing in Fast & Furious 9. The character of Hobbs has become such an important part of the series it’s easy to forget he only joined in Fast Five. That entry marked a departure in tone for the franchise, moving away from the street racing angle to becoming more like heist movies with elaborate action scenes. Hobbs was introduced as the ultimate antagonist to Dom’s (Vin Diesel) team: a federal agent who will stop at nothing to apprehend them....

During the WWDC 2022 keynote, Apple announced the M2 chip and a new MacBook Pro with it. Different from the ones introduced in October, this one remains with the design of the 2020 model, which means: Touch Bar, Thunderbolt ports, and no notch. With the M2 chip, this MacBook Pro is 40% faster than its M1 counterpart. It supports up to 24GB of unified memory, and up to 2TB of SSD....

Evangeline Lilly has officially revealed her new Wasp costume for the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp. The reveal serves in part to commemorate the memory of the late comic book icon (and frequent Stan Lee collaborator) Jack Kirby, on what would have been his 100th birthday. Lilly has teased Hope getting her own Wasp costume for the second Ant-Man film before, following the first Ant-Man’s mid-credits scene reveal of the shrinking supersuit that Hope’s mother, Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), wore back when she was The Wasp, prior to her being trapped in the Quantum Realm....
