Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn is pretty active on social media, and often uses it as a way to tease and interact with his fans. In addition to sharing pictures of the cast and crew of GotG2, he also periodically shares teases and other tidbits that he thanks the fans will enjoy. Not all of the images he shares are from GotG2, however. Recently, Gunn showed off a still from an unfinished scene that was cut from the original Guardians of the Galaxy… though it wasn’t cut for the reason that many fans think....

In today’s Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman doubles down the fact that Apple won’t add in-screen Touch ID to the rumored iPhone 13 as the company has a “long-term goal” to include the Face ID sensor inside the display. Gurman writes: With that, although almost every year rumors claim that Apple will bring in-screen Touch ID to its flagship phones, it won’t happen at least in 2021. According to Gurman, the company plans to do something similar as Samsung did with the Galaxy Z Fold3 in-screen camera sensor....

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is now open at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando and is causing problems for the park, due to how great it is! Opening June 13, 2019 the new attraction saw wait times of up to 10 hours on its first day, and for the day following the park had to stop allowing guests in hours early due to the demand. We had the chance to visit the new Hagrid roller coaster (it’s described as a “story coaster”) days early and experience the grand opening with several stars of the Harry Potter movies and can safely say that the hype is real....

We can now finally confirm that David Fincher’s Oscar-winning The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie adaptation is getting a followup; or, rather, a rebooting sequel. Some years ago, plans for Fincher to continue the story of Lisbeth Salander - with Rooney Mara reprising her Oscar-nominated turn from Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) - with an adaptation of The Girl Who Played with Fire, fell by the wayside. Since there, there have been rumblings of a sequel with an all-new cast and director happening instead, with the novel The Girl in the Spider’s Web serving as the source material....
