Director Doug Liman will take his sci-fi/action genre senses into the young adult genre, as his adaptation of the unreleased YA book Unearthed moves to Columbia Pictures. After three years without a film, Liman has two releases set for 2017 in the Aaron Taylor-Johnson war film The Wall and September’s real-life drama American Made with Tom Cruise. Unsurprisingly, Liman will continue to churn out films, as he’s attached to three additional projects beyond the ones mentioned above....

Eighth Grade masterfully captures the emotional horror of being a Generation Z middle-schooler, yet tells a universally relatable coming of age story. One of the most painfully authentic cinematic portraits of life as a young teenager in recent memory (if not ever), Eighth Grade marks actor/filmmaker Bo Burnham’s feature-length debut behind the camera. Ernie Hudson hasn’t been contacted about Jason Reitman’s upcoming Ghostbusters sequel yet. When Guardians of the Galaxy was released in theaters in August 2014, one of the best aspects of the Marvel movie was the way director James Gunn incorporated comedy, action, and visual effects. Downward Spiral: Horus Station - a space-based puzzler and shooter game - is the first major title from Finnish developer/publisher 3rd Eye Studios, which was only founded two years ago and is comprised of film, music, and video game industry veterans. Each of those developers are looking to build “atmospheric and sophisticated games,” according to the studio’s mission statement. And, in that regard, they have succeeded doing so with Downward Spiral: Horus Station, but it comes with a cost....

The Dragon Ball franchise is one of the most enduring Anime sagas of all time. It has spawned multiple spinoff franchises, video games, and millions of loyal fans. Director Matthew Vaughn says the upcoming Kingsman prequel movie isn’t titled The Great Game. Vaughn first brought the world of Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons’ comics to life with 2015’s Kingsman: The Secret Service, introducing a world of covert spies that draws inspiration from the likes of James Bond. The Disneyland Resort has recently opened its doors to its newest park attraction, allowing fans to experience the beloved franchise in an entirely different and more immersive way. The unlikely romantic storyline involving Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) continues to be one of the most intriguing and unpredictable parts of the show, as the latter sees his dark past deeds rise to the surface once again....

And since Bruce is stepping up his vigilante game for the fourth season, the villains are only going to get worse, too.
