With fans chomping at the bit for the final season premiere, it looks like a key piece of Game of Thrones season 8 information has been revealed: the runtimes for the season’s six episodes. We’ve suspected for some time (and especially given the lengthy runtimes of some of season 7’s later episodes) that season 8 episodes would be almost feature length, but now we know the exact, official runtimes. There’s been little to no information about GoT’s final season despite being only three months out (at time of reporting) from the season 8 premiere date....

Fox Searchlight has signed a deal with Guillermo del Toro covering live-action films by del Toro as well as the creation of a new label for sci-fi, horror, and fantasy films. The Mexican filmmaker is best known for his fantasy and gothic stories, such as Pan’s Labyrinth and The Devil’s Backbone, though he has also done more mainstream action films such as Hellboy and Pacific Rim, all of them with his particular touch of dark fantasy....

Since the announcement that Captain America 3 would adapt the story of Marvel’s Civil War, the focus of the marketing has appropriately been on the idea of superheroes who’ve fought together over the course of a dozen movies would now be fighting each other. A battle if ideals fueled by politics, emotions, and personal relationships. But of of course, it’s not that simple. Netflix’s coming-of-middle-age series Friends From College season 2 is out now, and it somehow manages to top the first season when it comes to relationship drama, as well as its ending. HBO’s Game of Thrones has become known for its brutality by featuring a large amount of wanton violence, a fair amount of sex, and an uncomfortable amount of sexual violence. For fans of the show, it has also become known for its vague teasers and promos calculated to arouse viewers’ interest without giving away any plot details. While those teasers certainly get people talking about the show, there has not been much interactivity to them....

A new trailer for the upcoming fourth season of Gotham has arrived, teasing the rise of Batman, Catwoman, Scarecrow, and more. Over the past three seasons, Gotham has not only slowly been bringing us closer to the point where Bruce Wayne will become Batman, but it’s also shown us the origins of many classic DC villains. While some have come and gone, the Riddler, Penguin, and even a proto-Joker have had a significant impact on the series....
