Netflix’s Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle is director Andy Serkis’ reimagining of The Jungle Book - but does it have an after-credits scene? Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book was originally published in 1894 as a series of short stories, some of which followed a young boy who’d been raised by the animals of the jungle. The tales included in Kipling’s work struck a chord with people around the world and the book has been adapted to film a number of times - including, perhaps most famously, Disney’s animated The Jungle Book....

In the world of Dragon Ball, characters don’t get as much attention if they are not fighters. And even then it’s only the super powerful fighters who really get talked about, as demonstrated by the current unimportant status of Yamcha, Tien, and Krillin. But just because a character isn’t a Saiyan breaking out a new transformation each month doesn’t mean they are useless. Sometimes it’s the characters who have never taken part in a battle in their life who accomplish the most important things....

Universal Pictures announced a summer 2020 release date for Red Notice, a blockbuster thriller that will star Dwayne Johnson. Rawson Marshall Thurber will direct Johnson after previously working with him on 2016’s Central Intelligence and 2018’s Skyscraper, a China-set thriller that will drop on July 13. Universal launched promotion for Thurber’s Skyscraper with a Super Bowl trailer earlier this year, and it will be the second action-packed film lead by Johnson in 2018 - the first being Warner Bros’ Rampage....

Alongside a whole host of movie news, Disney’s D23 Expo announced some big changes for its theme parks, and in particular, Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort Florida. Joined by a whole host of new attractions, two of the biggest rides planned for the park’s future will be based on Ratatouille and Guardians of the Galaxy. The park is undergoing something of an upgrade in the run up to Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary in 2021....

EA Access is available now on PS4 with a full list of games, meaning players can download and play a large library of different titles for $4.99 a month or $29.99 for the year. The service first launched on Xbox One back in July of 2014. Later on, a similar service called Origin Access came to PC in 2016. Sony had initially declined to put the service on PS4 but right at the cusp of the next console generation, it seemed to have changed its mind....

When it comes to making Toy Story 4 - or a Pixar movie, in general - the process is uniquely different compared to the rest of the filmmaking industry, and this is something that Pixar has demonstrated time and again, going all the way back to the original Toy Story movie in 1995. This year, Toy Story 4 begins with a flashback sequence to the day Bo Peep left, but the rest of the film takes place only a few months after the events of Toy Story 3....

The presence of Nicholas Flamel and his Philosopher’s Stone in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2 has been teased. The first Fantastic Beasts took audiences outside the confines of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, following the globetrotting tale of Magizoologist New Scamander in 1920s New York. In the upcoming sequel, Rowling (who serves as screenwriter) will upend her characters yet again, exploring her world of magic in Paris, France....

The trailer for Raven’s Home, the sequel series to That’s So Raven has been released. Raven-Symoné has been making people laugh since she was three-years-old. That was when she joined the cast of The Cosby Show as Denise’s step-daughter Olivia. She remained with the show for the final three seasons. One year later, she joined the cast of another sitcom - Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper. During that time she also began to work on her singing career....

At its Made by Google 2022 event today, the company officially launched its Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, Pixel Watch, and more. During the keynote, Google also took the opportunity to take some shots – with smiles – at Apple including a thanks for choosing to “follow our lead.” Here’s what Google’s VP of product management had to say… This fall, Apple launched its first always-on display with iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max plus crash detection coming with all iPhone 14 models and the new Apple Watches....

In an interview, Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman reveals a few tidbits on Apple’s Mac lineup development for the coming months and years. In addition, he said Apple had a Mac Pro “ready to go” with the M1 chip but ultimately decided to wait for the M2 Pro. This interview was made by YouTuber Vadim Yuriev and published today. In the video, Gurman gives an interesting tidbit about the Mac Pro, which Apple recently said that is under development....

Bradley Walsh’s Graham has become the best part of Doctor Who season 11. This season has brought many changes to the show; new showrunner, new writers, a new Doctor, and new companions (or friends as the Doctor now calls them). Almost all of these changes and new additions have been positive; Jodie Whittaker has made a strong first impression as the first female Doctor, and looks set to become a fan favorite for many....

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a charming deviation from the main Dragon Quest series, with joyful gameplay and a detailed and expansive game world. Dragon Quest has seen a lot of spinoffs over the years, from the Pokemon-esque Dragon Quest Monsters through to the musou action of Dragon Quest Heroes - and that’s without mentioning that Super Smash Bros. inclusion. With 2016’s Dragon Quest Builders, Square Enix took on survival and crafting mechanics, and the title did well enough to deserve a sequel....

Deadpool actor Ed Skrein wants to go from portraying Ajax to X-Men/X-Force character Fantomex in his next comic book movie role. The English actor, also known as the original Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones, brought the villainous Francis Freeman/Ajax thrillingly to life in the first Deadpool, creating the titular antihero in the first place with his torturous experiments that disfigured Wade Wilson and activated his superhuman healing factor. But Ajax also met his end at the hands of Deadpool, when he revealed that the cure that Wilson sought for much of the movie didn’t exist....

The E3 gaming trade show is now underway, with the industry’s biggest names wheeling out their biggest guns in hopes of building up hype among games journalists in attendance and millions of fans watching from home. Among the first day’s presenters was Bethesda, who showed off multiple new titles and sequels along with expansions to their existing lineup – already one of the most robust in recent-generation gaming. Among the big news was some new DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online and a remaster of Elder Scrolls’ fan-favorite Skyrim, one of the most popular games of the previous generation....

These days almost no new movie project being announced can surprise anybody. The success (both critical and commercial) of Warner Bros’ The LEGO Movie has changed the way that studios think about leveraging commercial brands within feature films, looking to increasingly unconventional properties as potential “outside the box” material for narrative films. Fox has had Play-Doh: The Movie in development for about a year, and esoteric fare like Viewmaster and Magic 8-Ball have been optioned elsewhere....

Marvel’s ensemble movie has already established itself as one of the best-performing movies of all time; it debuted with a stunning $1.2 billion worldwide, and since then has gone from strength to strength. It’s had rave reviews from fans and critics alike; on review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, Avengers: Endgame has a Critic Score of 94 percent and an Audience Score of 91 percent....

The highly anticipated X-Men: Grand Design - first announced as a six-issue miniseries releasing in pairs at San Diego Comic-Con last summer - finally debuts in an oversized trade paperback format next week, recapping (and tweaking) the the biggest moments in the history of Marvel’s mighty mutants, and Screen Rant has the exclusive on the cover to the sequel, X-Men: Grand Design, Second Genesis. ABC’s recent cancellation of Roseanne has prompted people to suggest other projects to replace the canned sitcom - including fans of Marvel’s Agent Carter who are pushing for the show’s revival. As a part of ABC’s cancellation binge back in 2016, the Hayley Atwell-starring Marvel series was unceremoniously axed from the network’s program roster leaving fans shocked and disappointed, especially since the show seemed to have more stories to tell....

Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts franchise; a 5 movie arc that takes us back to the Wizarding World of her creation, focusing on the dark wizard, Grindelwald’s, rise to power.
