The Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the most popular entertainment brands on the planet, and a good deal of that popularity has manifested through the massive amount of merchandise produced featuring the various characters. However, a persistent criticism of the brand has been that female characters have been underrepresented in merchandising efforts - leaving fans of such characters unable to find toys, apparel, etc featuring them. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige weighed in on the controversy, stating that the company is taking steps to correct this perception....

Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s BBC tragicomedy Fleabag has a long list of accolades to its name now: On Rotten Tomatoes it’s one of a few shows with a 100% positive rating; the play it was based on won the Fringe First Award; it’s been nominated for eleven Emmys; it’s already won a BAFTA. People can’t seem to laud it enough. For our money, one of the best parts on Fleabag is Olivia Colman astonishingly hateful character, Godmother....

It’s been a long time coming, but Forza Motorsport 7 is finally dropping its loot boxes. The racing game has long held ‘prize crates’ as part of it content, but these will be removed as part of a future update to the title. When Forza Motorsport 7 released last year, players were excited to see what the game would deliver in terms of racing thrills. However, much like other games such as Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Star Wars: Battlefront II, the inclusion of this random content had a major negative impact on the game as a whole, and left racers feeling disappointed....

George R.R. Martin’s Nightflyers TV series has reportedly lost showrunner Daniel Cerone, and will replace him with executive producer Jeff Buhler. Syfy and Universal Cable productions are producing the show which is said to have a “substantial budget.” Syfy ordered a pilot last June, then in September ordered the show to series. The Ferris Bueller’s Day Off reboot is finally moving forward with director Edgar Wright and Tom Holland. Rumors of returning to the world of Bueller first started back in 2011 when a script featuring Ferris and his grown friends was reportedly under consideration, but nothing ever developed from it, and Matthew Broderick himself may have actually been the one to shoot it down....

Facebook on Wednesday announced a new update to its mobile app’s settings menu, which will arrive later this week for users. The company is now making it easier for users to find and change privacy and other settings with simplified options. According to Facebook in a blog post, the new settings menu has been redesigned to make things more simplified and easier to find and. The executive producer for Fargo has confirmed that season 4 is definitely happening, but production won’t start until fall in 2019. It’s bittersweet news for viewers of the award-winning FX series, as it means it will be some time before the crime anthology drama reaches TV screens again. One week after Universal released a new poster for Jordan Peele’s Us, two first look photos have arrived and tease a holiday from hell. In 2017, Peele released his directorial debut Get Out, a horror film that addresses racism and fear in America through satirical themes.
